To quote: Giving button mashing a whole new meaning, the new YouTube app for PlayStation 3 rolls out today across 19 countries including most of Europe, Australia, New Zealand and more. You'll find the new app in My Channels under TV & Video Services on the home screen.

You might have watched YouTube on PS3 before, but get ready for a completely new experience that's designed for the big screen and PS3 controls. The new app brings you more content, like your subscribed channels, and more ways to find videos, with better search tools, more ways to watch YouTube by pairing your smartphone, and more language options.

21w ago - Following up on his previous release, this weekend PlayStation 3 developer facanferff has updated the YouTube Plugin to version 2.0 for Showtime PS3 Media Player dubbed the New Experience with the changes outlined below.

The first major release of the plugin was more than a year ago and now it is time to renew that experience and provide a improved experience that I hope everyone will enjoy. Please see carefully the changelog so you know exactly what's new:

From VSPROD: It seems that the YouTube APP won't appear at all on the XMB when you are in 3.55 (4.10 APP) So I have created a PKG from the official Sony YouTube APP.. and an other PKG: the Fix 3.55. should work for 3.41 too.

1. Install my first PKG:UP2075-NPUP10028_00-YOUTUBE000000001
2. Install my 3.55 Fix: YOUTUBE105_FIX_341355_VSPROD

Now after the installation, launch multiman and you have to go into Dev_hdd0/game/NPUP10028/ and create a new folder called: PS3_GAME.

Now you will have to copy everything that in the NPUP10028 folder into PS3_GAME folder. After that go to PS3_GAME/USRDIR and click on EBOOT.BIN and create a desktop shortcut (with the circle button...
