150w ago - Just a few weeks back Sony revised their PSN Terms of Service for PlayStation Plus, and this weekend Examiner.com (linked above) reports that the PlayStation Network TOS have been updated once again to reflect PS3 3D gaming.

According to Forum user TheShroomster, Sony is also sending out the new Terms via e-mail for registered users to review.

To quote from Sony's Terms of Service on the change:

"Some people may experience discomfort (such as eye strain, eye fatigue or nausea) while watching 3D video images or playing stereoscopic 3D games on 3D televisions. If you experience such discomfort, you should immediately discontinue use of your television until the discomfort subsides.

SCEA recommends that all viewers take regular breaks while watching 3D video or playing stereoscopic 3D games. The length and frequency of necessary breaks may vary from person to person. Please take breaks that are long enough...

239w ago - A very interesting (read: "big brother") addition to Sony's new PlayStation 3 Terms of Service has surfaced courtesy of Gizmodo today.

To quote: SCEA reserves the right to monitor and record any online activity and communication throughout PSN and you give SCEA your express consent to monitor and record your activities.

SCEA reserves the right to remove any content and communication from PSN at SCEA's sole discretion without further notice to you.

Any data collected in this way, including the content of your communications, the time and location of your activities, your Online ID and IP address and other related information may be used by us to enforce this Agreement or protect the interests of SCEA, its users, or licensors.
