85w ago - Sony Senior Social Media Specialist Sid Shuman has posted up a Cloak and Dagger video preview today of the upcoming PlayStation 3 title Dishonored for fans below.
To quote: Some games have problems with bugs, but this game has trouble with rats. Big, evil ones that prowl in packs and can rend a man's flesh from his screaming bones.
But killer rats are the least of your worries in the dark world of Dishonored, an imaginative action-adventure from Arkane Studios and Bethesda coming to PS3 later this year.
The game nimbly blends inspirations from a pantheon of modern classics: The oppressive atmosphere and paranoid politicking of BioShock, the graceful bloodletting of Assassin's Creed, the murky morality of Deus Ex, the stealth and shadow of Thief.
This is a game about skulking in dark places, eavesdropping on secret conversations, setting up the perfect ambush and beating a hasty retreat.
You play as Corvo, an elite royal bodyguard wrongly accused of assassinating the Empress of Dunwall. Locked in a prison and left to rot, you're sprung by a shadowy benefactor and set loose to claim your revenge in whatever manner you see fit.

178w ago - Senior Social Media Specialist Sid Shuman has shared a video today from E3 2010 previewing Two Worlds II for Sony's PS3 entertainment system.
To quote: Fans of epic open-world RPGs like The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion and Fallout 3 will want to keep their eyes peeled for Two Worlds II, an upcoming fantasy RPG that's headed to the PS3 this fall from developer Reality Pump.
I sat in on a demonstration at E3 to learn more about the game, but before I start yammering away, check out the trailer below to get a sense of the universe and visual style.
Set in a massive open world teeming with animal life, Two Worlds II is an RPG that's intensely focused on player freedom. You won't find rigid character classes like "Barbarian" or "Thief."
Instead, you'll build a custom class by assigning skill points across a wide range of talents: assassination, melee combat, trade, lockpicking, and magic to name just a few. Want to combine the spell-casting acumen of a Wizard with the brute melee force of a Warrior? No problem: just assign your skill and stat points accordingly.
You use the directional pad to swap quickly between your gear loadouts, so you could soften...
186w ago - Today Sony's Associate Editor Nathan Ditum has shared a video preview of FirstPlay Episode 7, which arrives on PlayStation Network tomorrow.
To quote: Nathan Ditum here, back to tell you about this week's episode of FirstPlay, which will be on the Store this Wednesday.
It's a packed episode this week. First we have a preview of Rockstar's cold-eyed six-shoot 'em up, Red Dead Redemption.
We're putting together a very special review of the game for a future episode right now, and having played it for several hours already I can say it's looking absolutely fantastic. It's epic, atmospheric, and I shot a lot of animals.
We've also got reviews of THQ's big-hitting UFC 2010 Undisputed, and shin-shattering boarder sequel Skate 3.
That's alongside our usual batch of network highlights - this week including the best PSN shooters, a round-up of the comics store and a count-down of your best Just Cause 2 destruction videos - and our screenshot galleries, this week featuring Test Drive Unlimited 2.
That's all for our regular, cheaper-than-100-one-penny-sweets price of 99p, or just £8.99 for a 90 day subscription. A bargain - especially since,...
