To quote: This past weekend at PAX, I was fortunate enough to moderate a panel with some of the top minds working on God of War: Ascension.

While getting inside the heads of the creators of Kratos' next adventure was a treat, we did a lot more than just talk.

The team brought early sketches of Kratos (dreadlocks!) and the first playable video of the original God of War, before the Blades of Chaos were irrevocably bound to his forearms. We also revealed Ascension's big bads, the Furies, with a close look at Mageara, the "enforcer" of the mythical tio.

While we streamed the panel live, courtesy of Twitch.tv, you're forgiven if you missed it last Friday evening. But the excuses are gone now - we've cut down the hour-long panel into an 11-minute highlight reel. Take a look:

99w ago - Naughty Dog Community Strategist Arne Meyer has shared some video footage today from Comic-Con 2011 spotlighting the Uncharted 3 PS3 Interactive Entertainment Panel.

To quote: We're back from Comic-Con International 2011 and we've barely survived this year's awesome, and awesomely busy, show!

One of the our personal highlights from Comic-Con was being able to be in front of over 400 fans and talk about Uncharted 3 during our panel on Friday, July 22.

Moderated by USA Today's Mike Snider, the panel was called "Developing Interactive Entertainment: The Performance Capture Techniques of the UNCHARTED Franchise and Today's Film Industry" and it gave Amy Hennig, Taylor Kurosaki, Josh Scherr, Nolan North, Emily Rose and Richard McGonagle the perfect setting to discuss everything that goes into creating the industry-leading cinematics in the Uncharted series.

The panel also gave our fans their first look at an all-new cinematic scene, and some behind-the-scenes footage of the cast, that we prepared especially for Comic-Con.

141w ago - Sony Online Entertainment Austin Senior Producer Wes Yanagi has shared a video trailer today for DC Universe Online PS3 via the NY Comic Con Panel.

To quote: I know that a lot of you are bummed that we have to delay DC Universe Online to 2011, but we think it's really gonna pay off.

With the delay and expanding beta, it will give us a chance to test and scale our servers and take feedback from the players so we can deliver a killer experience when the servers go live.

In the meantime, just in time for the New York Comic Con, here's a new sizzle trailer for DC Universe Online! This one's got it all: Heroes, Villains, Icons, combat, the whole shebang!

To quote: Panels are typically the highlights of Comic-Con, but truth be told, they're a bit of a pain in the arse.

You end up waiting in a long line (sometimes for hours), fight for good seats with people who are squatting for the Vampire Chick Lit panel happening like 2 days later in the same room, and endure one or more of the following: difficult lighting/audio issues/off-topic Q&As.

Wouldn't it be easier if all the good stuff was cut down into, say, 7 minutes and 53 seconds?

To quote: We've all returned - and mostly recuperated - from our trip to Boston this past weekend to attend PAX East.

It was both a pleasure and an honor to make it out for the inaugural PAX on the East Coast, not only to attend the show, but also to participate in panels.

Everyone at Penny Arcade deserves all our gratitude for putting together such a smooth first - and completely sold out PAX in Boston. We're looking forward to PAX East 2011!
