We've been listening closely to your feedback and we've heard a few of you are running into some technical issues. We want you to know your feedback is valuable and we are implementing fixes as quickly as possible. In the next patch many issues will be resolved.

Some of the specific issues that we are fixing include numerous changes to improve the user interface, in particular text readability. In addition, we want to make it easier for you to play with your friends! What is an online game without playing with friends?

Social enhancements will make it easier to communicate, play and group with others. Improvements to chat input, frequently used phrases menu, and the ability to use emotes will further convey your personality and mood to the world.

162w ago - SCEE European Product Manager Rob Rutter has announced news today of a SingStar Online Battle Mode and PS3 Beta coming soon.

To quote: I'm really pleased to be able to let you know about a great new gameplay feature coming soon to SingStar in the June update.

For the first time, you'll be able to take part in Online Battles against your friends in SingStar. When competing in an Online Battle, you'll send an invite to one of your PSN friends, match songs (you both need to own a song to play it) - pick-up the mic and in true MC style 'let battle commence'.

When playing, you can view your opponent's score live, and see them playing via PlayStation Eye.

As this is a new feature for SingStar, the team needs to test out the gameplay with real players, and this is where you come in! We're running a Closed Beta for our most dedicated SingStar players to come and help us test out new features and upgrades to the game. If you're already a SingStar player aged over 18 with a European PSN account, have the game, mics and an online-enabled PS3, we need your help!

264w ago - For those of you whom have not yet given up on the MGSO Beta like many people I have talked to, it has finally started. All the interuptions and delays aside, it is here at last and.. Well, I'll let Kotakuite JP describe it for me:

Before you go rushing into the game I'm afraid there is yet another patch you have to download on top of the monolothic 1.1 patch so.. Well, if like me you haven't even done the first patch yet you should start soon.

If you're lucky you might get it done before the end of the Beta.
