158w ago - Today Virtual Air Guitar Company CEO Teemu Maki-Patola has announced news of an official launch date for Kung-Fu LIVE alongside a new PS3 video trailer.
To quote: After months of demo events across the world from gamescom in Germany to PAX Prime in Seattle, combined with THOUSANDS of cumulative man-hours for our small independent team in Finland, burning the midnight oil and sweating like crazy play-testing our game, we're FINALLY ready to break the news right back here where we started.
What better way to do that than with an all-new trailer? Have a peek at the clip below to see what people have being saying all year, and get the leg up on exactly when you too can literally step into the world of Kung-Fu LIVE and lay the smack down in your living room!
That's right! If you're in Europe, then you can download your way into the action on 8th December. We know it's been a long time coming, and we've always wanted to get this game to you before the last of the leaves hit the ground in 2010.
So, as soon as it's officially too cold to practice your kung-fu moves outside, you'll get an indoor option that will also transport you to a far off land of street thugs, ninja assassins, and four story-tall giants looking to...
186w ago - Today the Red Dead Redemption official launch trailer arrives, with the video game hitting both the PS3 and XBox 360 on May 18, 2010 in North America and May 21, 2010 in Europe.
Red Dead Redemption gives the player a large, open world environment allowing the player to move freely. Players on foot can walk, talk, shoot, kill, ride, run, interact with the environment, and combat enemies with firearms.
Different breeds of horses are the main forms of transportation. Swimming is not an option, as the protagonist John Marston cannot swim and will drown if the player ventures too far into a body of water (though he is able to wade where the water is shallow enough).
The open world environment allows players to choose how they want to play. Storyline missions are for progress. Along with the main storyline, players can take part in random events they encounter as they explore the West.
These include public hangings, ambushes, pleas for assistance, and dangerous animal attacks. Players can also take part in optional side activities ranging from standoffs, gambling, and hunting fauna for pelts and meat.
Finally, Red Dead Redemption makes use of a morality system where players have the ability to gain positive or negative 'honor'. Some of the ways to gain positive honor include...
