110w ago - Previously Sony confirmed that PSN users can activate downloaded games on to up to five different PS3 or PSP systems, but today PlayStation Network Operations VP Gordon Thornton has announced this policy is being changed to only two- possibly to curb game sharing.
One alternative for those on PS3 Custom Firmware is to check out the PlayStation 3 homebrew exdata license reactivation tool ReActPSN which currently reactivates PlayStation Network data.
To quote: We'd like to inform you of some upcoming changes to the usage policies for PlayStation Network game content.
As of November 18, 2011, the number of devices that can be activated on one PlayStation Network account for game content purchased from the PlayStation Store will be updated.
For game content purchased after November 18, 2011, a new policy will apply and the number of devices that can be activated will be as follows:
189w ago - Not long ago several developers voiced their opinions on PSN game sharing, and today on his blog video game designer David Jaffe clarifies his Tweet against PSN game sharing as well as his stance on PS3 DLC.
For those unaware, David Jaffe is best known for directing the PlayStation Twisted Metal series and more recently God of War.
