To quote: Well, it's been a long time coming but today it's finally here - Sorcery! PlayStation Move is a magic wand at last!

Sorcery is the first of its kind - a full-fledged action adventure created natively for the PlayStation Move motion controller. All of us at The Workshop feel tremendously privileged that we could bring this game to life.

Many of you have been following us since our first announcement back at E3 2010 and we have worked tirelessly since then to meet the expectations that arose from our on-stage presentation.

To quote: We work day-in and day-out here at PlayStation to ensure that you never run out of reasons to be a proud PlayStation fan.

It's our way of saying "Thank you" to the millions of you around the world who demonstrate your passion and dedication to PlayStation on a daily basis.

However, sometimes a simple thank you just isn't enough to truly show our gratitude and that's why we're ready to take things one step further.

94w ago - Today DICE Junior Product Manager Tommy Rydling has shared details on the Co-Op Mode in Battlefield 3 for PlayStation 3 gamers.

To quote: "Snake-66 is mission go!"

Having just come back from a great Gamescom show in Germany, here's your chance to learn all about the co-op campaign in Battlefield 3 that we showed off on PS3.

We designed co-op to be the perfect blend between the strong narrative from single player and the open-ended action from multiplayer. We are fusing the replayability of multiplayer with a pick up-and-play mentality to create a totally new flavor of Battlefield.

Co-op follows the same philosophy as our award-winning multiplayer game mechanics. Teamwork is practically never forced upon you, but working together will make things much easier and - more importantly - lead to victory.

For the most part, the missions in the co-op campaign are asymmetric. This means that one mission can have you piloting a helicopter while your friend is the gunner, for example. Other situations have one player disarming a bomb and the other one defending him.

Or (as you could see in our press conference playthrough at Gamescom) you can do tandem kills to avoid detection. There are also other mechanics requiring teamwork, such as spotting enemies to...

218w ago - According to a self-proclaimed 'game developer' known as seven-biho27 of the PS3Spot.de forums (linked above), Sony is planning on including a gamer skills level in the next PS3 Firmware update for others to see and compare with friends, based off percentage levels and trophies.

It is believed to work by calculating how good a person is at certain types of games.

224w ago - We're not asking which console is "better" and it has nothing to do with sales. The question is designed for avid gamers and asks that if you consider every facet of a video game console purchase, would more hardcore gamers out there choose the PS3 over the 360 at this particular point in time?

When the PS3 first launched, no real gamer immediately went out and paid $600 for what the console offered that day. I'm not saying gamers who bought it on launch day made a bad decision, but their thought process would've been very different in 2006 than it would be now, in early 2009.

Then, I know people who bought the PS3 thinking, "this is going to give me my RPG fix." Now, as a big RPG fan, I find myself continually turning to the 360 for that. Then, I really had no intention of going online at all with the PS3; if I was going to do that, it would be with the superior Live service.

Now, I actually prefer the content on the PSN, and over the past few years, the free Network has made great strides. Then, the FPS and shooter fans all talked about Halo 3 and the impending Gears of War; now, Killzone 2 owns the headlines.

There's no doubt that things have changed significantly, so it'll be interesting to hear what people have to say. We have no choice but to view both systems in very different...
