57w ago - Quantic Dream Director David Cage posted up some videos today showcasing Beyond: Two Souls PlayStation 3 Gameplay from E3 2013 below.

To quote: Hi PlayStation gamers, So far this year, we've put a lot of focus on BEYOND: Two Souls' cinematic presentation and powerfully emotional storytelling - we've revealed [Register or Login to view links] as Ellen Page's co-star, debuted a beautifully cinematic [Register or Login to view links], and even revealed a [Register or Login to view links] from the game at Tribeca Film Festival to show you just how groundbreaking BEYOND: Two Souls aims to be.

The "Interactive Drama" genre is a bit of a unique concept though, and one of the consistent questions we've received from those of you who missed out on experiencing Heavy Rain is: "BEYOND looks like it has a fantastic story, but how does it play?!"

During yesterday's press conference, we debuted our E3 trailer.

Today, I stepped up on the stage in our E3 booth to give a guided walkthrough of a portion of the Somalia scene to carefully illustrate these gameplay mechanics in action. We've created a short video to...

To quote: Hey everybody! We're incredibly excited to be at E3 this year to reveal Destiny gameplay for the first time. We hope you like what you see. If you want more, check out the official Destiny gameplay trailer, and stay tuned for more information in the weeks and months to come!

Finally, for those unaware: From the creators of Halo and the publisher of Call of Duty comes Destiny.

With an unprecedented variety of FPS gameplay, Destiny promises to deliver an incredible story set within a newly-imagined, always-connected universe filled with action and adventure.

Everything changed with the arrival of the Traveler. It sparked a Golden Age when our civilization spanned the solar system... but it didn't last. Something hit us, knocked us down.

The survivors built a city beneath the Traveler, and have begun to explore our old worlds, only to find them filled with deadly foes. In Destiny, you are a Guardian of the last safe city on Earth, able to wield incredible power. Defend the City. Defeat our enemies. Reclaim all that we have lost.

78w ago - Sony Associate Product Marketing Manager Cristian Cardona of Software Marketing has shared a brand new Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time PS3 gameplay video below today.

To quote: Happy New Year from the Sly gang! 2012 was full of fantastic gaming goodness. Hopefully you've found some favorites (I know I have - Persona 4 Golden, anyone?) that you're still playing, but we're sure you're already looking ahead to what's landing in 2013.

By the looks of it, 2013 is looking just as good with the upcoming release of Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time! Sly and the gang are back on February 5th for $39.99 on PlayStation 3 and $29.99 on PS Vita. If you buy the PS3 copy, you'll receive the digital PS Vita version from PSN at no additional cost.

Today we're here to give you a taste of some of the new gameplay you'll get to experience. In case you missed it, we had an IGN Live session right before the holidays, with Glen Egan and Mat Kraemer from Sanzaru Games showing off the first few hours of the game.

In that preview you got a glimpse of some of the gameplay mechanics, Sly's samurai costume, his Japanese ancestor Rioichi Cooper, and a look at one of the vibrant lush environments Sly will be visiting as he travels through time. In this new gameplay video below, you'll get to...

Video: The Last of Us PS3 PAX Theater Gameplay Demo in HD

96w ago - Naughty Dog Community Strategist Eric Monacelli has made available an HD video of The Last of Us PS3 PAX Theater Gameplay demo below today.

To quote: Pax Prime was a blast! We were amped to publicly show off our behind-closed-doors gameplay demo of The Last of Us that only a very select few media members saw at E3.

If you weren't able to make it out to Seattle we don't want to leave you out (or leave you watching someone's illicit shaky-cam YouTube video) so here it is:

This demo highlights narrative exploration through interactive prompts, environmental puzzles, the balance of power AI, and some of the dynamic stealth elements you'll be able to use to plan Joel and Ellie's survival.

How many resources are at your disposal? Do you go offensive or defensive? You'll have to keep calm, think, and rely on your partner, Ellie, as you survive and make your way westward.

We can't thank you enough for the reception we've received so far for The Last of Us. At PAX Prime, we had some awesome conversations, saw some amazing things, and met some truly dedicated fans.

You guys and gals make all our hard work that much more rewarding - thank you.

Videos: Zen Studios KickBeat Gameplay and Zen Pinball 2 Updates

50°
108w ago - Zen Studios Managing Director Zsolt Kigyossy is here today with a KickBeat PS Vita gameplay video and some Zen Pinball 2 updates from this year's E3 convention.

To quote: Zen Studios is fresh off an exciting and successful E3. Although our presence was modest, we still made a big impact.

KickBeat for PS Vita won Destructoid's Best of Rhythm E3 award, and Zen Pinball 2 was nominated for Best of E3 2012 by IGN and Best Portable Game by Destructoid. We are extremely honored to be included alongside the industry's best!

KickBeat sure received a positive response at E3. We think it's because there is nothing else like it, and a lot of people caught on to that.

There were also some people who simply told us we were crazy when they watched us play, but once they got their hands on the game they had BIG smiles on their faces. We have some new video that was released right before and then during E3, we wanted to make sure you guys got a chance to view as well.

The first video is the intro story chapter to KickBeat, setting up our Kung Fu style cheesy story. All of these story scenes are hand animated, and yes, we hired professional voice actors. As a matter of fact, at least one of the actors we've used came by the Sony booth to say "hi," as they are all from Los Angeles.
