127w ago - Today Insomniac Games Senior Community Manager James Stevenson has made available some Resistance 3 PS3 gameplay video footage from the VGAs, and for those curious the title will arrive on 9/6/11!

To quote: We are excited to bring to you the first gameplay footage from Resistance 3 - coming to you in the form of our trailer for the Spike Video Game Awards (VGAs).

You'll see some more live-action (ala our Cologne reveal trailer), representing two moments from the game: a treacherous boat journey, and a brutal arena battle. You'll also see gameplay footage during the boat sequence, as Joseph Capelli and Dr. Malikov make their way through a flooded city filled with Grims while trying to avoid Chimeran death squads.

168w ago - Today Examiner.com (linked above) uncovered a God Of War 3 PS3 GameStop commercial ad and GamePro.de shared some fresh GOW3 gameplay video footage (including new scenes and spoilers).

A video with roughly 15 minutes of PS3 gameplay footage is below, and to quote:

"You'll see the game show you how to set up your room, fix the lighting, how to position the camera, and so on. You'll also here me say, "Come on Mr Egg." This isn't usual.

The video shows the first stages of your little monkey's life, with you hatching him, warming him up, giving him a name and helping him bounce around on a trampoline.

To quote from CtrlAltKill.org (linked above): "A YouTube user went to the Final Fantasy XIII premiere party event and posted footage of his game play on YouTube. In these videos they show off different summons and some new game play features that we haven't seen before."

Finally, from the video descriptions: The first reveals a new fight showing Snow, Sazh and Vanille. The second shows Snow summoning Shiva along with Vanille and Sazh. Finally, the last shows Lighting summoning Odin, and Lighting doing odin sginature final blow Zantesuken.

196w ago - Today HeadlessHeadshot on YouTube has made available some Gran Turismo 5 PS3 gameplay footage from GamesCom 2009.

To quote from the video's caption: First ever gameplay footage for Gran Turismo 5 only on PlayStation 3.

Gran Turismo 5 will feature over 1000 cars and 80 tracks. Ferrari will feature in a main numbered series after making their first appearance in GTHD. This version of GT will also include the test track from the Top Gear studio.

For the first time in the main series, an online mode with 16 player capability will be available in the game. Also included for the first time will be damage modeling.

Dynamic weather changes and night racing have also been hinted at, but have yet to be officially confirmed. WRC and NASCAR will also be featured for the first time in the Gran Turismo franchise.
