To quote from his blog: Yet another application update, bringing PS3 Game List to v2.1. Due to the major framework revision implemented in v2.0, some of the new features needed more polishing to better suit the app engine.

This version improves PS3GL responsiveness while loading data from multiple media sources (game folders, PKGs, ISOs and RAR compressed files) simultaneously. Basically, it means less time waiting and more time doing stuff that matters.

Another long time requested feature is the ability to manually add a game to the loaded list and search for its updates, even if the game is not in the user’s library. Fret no more, simply add the game to your list and PS3GL will search for its updates (to be fair, it was already possible to do that by importing a standalone game list from Excel).

This version implements a very useful feature: support for RAR files (including multivolume and password protected archives). To quote from his blog: Yet another revision bringing PS3 Game List to v1.9.3. This version implements an useful feature that was backlogged for a while due to its complexity: PKG file support (both release and debug).

This functionality allows users to manage their PSN games and homebrew apps, in addition to their standard game folders and games stored as ISO files, providing an all-in-one suite. Moreover, the app implements a decrypting method that allows the contents of the PKG files to be extracted quickly (just for comparison, it extracts PKGs twice as fast as Ifcaro's PkgView; an excellent piece of software, btw). Further revisions will shorten the times even more.

Users who have the various dongles that provide ISO image functionality can now use the app to manage their game library, check the change log for additional info. I am considering adding UDF support as well, if there is demand for it.

The Linux port of PS3 Game List, based upon v1.9.1, is available for download. It implements most of the Windows version features (minus the platform specific functionality).
