11w ago - Lab Zero Games CEO Peter Bartholow unveiled a new Skullgirls update today which includes a free character and stage with details below.

To quote: Last week, Lab Zero Games, the new developer of Skullgirls, started an Indiegogo campaign to keep the game growing with the addition of new characters.

The results have simply blown us away -- our amazing fans raised $150,000 to fund Squigly, our first DLC character, in under 24 hours. And now, a week later, we've more than doubled that and are well on our way to funding a second character.

So sometime this summer, all owners of Skullgirls will be able to download Squigly free! Not only will you get this awesome, parasite-infested opera singer to play with, you'll also get her story mode and a new stage.

In addition to Squigly's stage, we'll also be developing a new stage, the River King Casino, that will be also be released free. Check out this early concept sketch:

52w ago - Gearbox Producer Matt Charles has answered some PS3 fan questions on the upcoming Borderlands 2 video game for the PlayStation 3 entertainment system.

141w ago - Sony's Product Marketing Manager Wilson Cheng has invited fans to play inFamous 2 on PS3 at PAX 2010 this weekend.

To quote: If you are going to PAX this weekend, I wanted to let you know that inFAMOUS 2 will have its very own booth space at the show!

Sucker Punch will be on hand and we'll have 7 kiosks featuring a demo of the game that will feature Cole's new melee weapon (the "Amp") and a new power called the Ionic Vortex.

Our booth number is #122 so swing on by to get your inFAMOUS destruction on! We'll also be giving away a limited number of t-shirts to players until we run out.

148w ago - Sony's Social Media Manager Jeff Rubenstein has revealed to PS3 and PSP fans today the itinerary and details of the Comic-Con 2010 agenda, which takes place this week from July 22nd through July 25th in San Diego, California.

To quote: "So, where exactly are the comics at Comic-Con?" That's what I wondered when I attended my first San Diego Comic-Con a few years back.

Comic-Con may have been all about pulp and capes once upon a time, but these days it's more of a celebration of geek/pop culture: sci-fi TV shows, action movies, and, of course, video games.

So for those of you attending this mega conference (about 125,000 last year), I've put together a primer of the PlayStation presence at the San Diego Convention Center (and beyond).

163w ago - Today Sony Producer Matt Morton of Santa Monica Studio has invited fans in LA to try out some of the new Fat Princess PS3 features.

To quote: We have a very special request for fans of Fat Princess on the PS3 who are living in the Los Angeles / Santa Monica area. We value your input so much that we are looking for a select few to help us test some new features for Fat Princess PS3.

We are looking for people who can give us two hours of their time and let us know what you think. We need people for this Friday, April 2nd in any one of the following sessions:

• Session 1: 10:30 am - 12:00 pm
• Session 2: 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm
• Session 3: 3:00 pm - 4:30 pm
• Session 4: 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm

Requirements for the Playtest are as follows:

• Be at least 18 years or older.
• Be willing to sign a Non Disclosure Agreement, because what you will be testing is a BIG Cake-of-a-secret!
• Be familiar with Fat Princess on the PS3.
• Live in the LA area with reliable transportation to the playtest.

Mastery of the game is NOT a requirement!
