To quote: Hello everyone, I am glad to introduce the long awaited PS3 Remappable controller. This project started with the express intention of granting Chuck Bittner his desire to remap the buttons on a standard controller.
With this controller, Chuck will be able to remap the buttons on any current and past game that he normally would have to pass on due to the ergonomics of the default button layout. But his petition is much more important than that, as it will allow stock controllers the same ability for all games in the future. So please visit his petition (petitiononline.com/cu5t0m/petition.html) and support the cause.
OK. Now onto the main event! I have spent better than 6 months of late nights (I dont have free time before 10PM) getting this modification to work just right. I have made the decision not only to make the first controller...

The XCM LED Analog Thumb Sticks is not only bringing a new joy for gaming but also built-in LED light. You are able to select between colors: Blue, Green, Red, Purple, Lime, Yellow and White (XCM LED Analog Thumb Sticks provides 7 various colors) or turn it off.
You can have 2 different colors on 2 sticks (there is a total of 49 color combinations to choose from).
We also give you another pair of LED analog convex thumb sticks as well, so you will have total 2 pieces of Concave and 2 pieces of Convex LED analog thumb sticks. It is a time to start enjoying the new gaming experience.
183w ago - Just under a month ago the IntensaFire PlayStation 3 Controller Mod by BGRMods was first announced, and today I have reviewed this PS3 DualShock rapid-fire modification below!
First off I would like to thank IntensaFireStore.com for providing this wonderful chip, installation was seamless and simple; if taking your controller apart is impossible for you, don't worry about it.
Instructions are included with this, no worrying about a large PDF on CD or 900 pages of nothing. Most of it is self-explanatory and anyone can figure it out (Maybe not a caveman, however )
Let's get down to business, shall we?
Again, installation is simple. Don't make a thread complaining that you can't get your controller open or you can't figure out how the chip snaps on top of the controller chip.. it's not rocket science ;]
I've demoed this mod on 3 PS3 games (I'm not your cheater here, so I worked with only PlayStation 3 demos). After I played the Battlefield 1943 demo, which had a trial period of 30 minutes, I haven't used it since.
It was rather amazing to be able to adjust the fire rate in-game as well, allowing me...
274w ago - HotDog-Cart recently completed this PlayStation 3 boomerang controller. The boomerang was originally shown with the PlayStation 3 prototype, and was severely panned by the press... but now it's a reality as a result of some custom modification work.
He started with a cheap 3rd-party controller that was approximately boomerang shaped. He enlarged the controller body ~20% using bondo. The internals were replaced with gear from an official Sony controller. It was finished with a coat of black paint.
It's definitely a nice build and the new internals mean it probably feels as good as any factory controller.
To quote: What I basically did was take a cheap PS2 boomerang-ish shaped controller, and take its guts out and modify a REAL official Six Axis Controller and put it inside the shell. I also expanded the shell 15%.
I got the controller painted black, so it would be a batman inspired "Batarang Controller".
Please excuse my picture quality. My 5mp camera thinks brand new batteries, are dead. Also, excuse my bondo job. It was my first time.
You can see the white PS button. I didnt put any image there due to copyright reasons.
