2w ago - Ilusis Interactive Graphics Creative Director Leonardo Arantes made available a video trailer today announcing that Krinkle Krusher is coming to PS4, PS3 and PS Vita in February 2015.

To quote: Hi readers! Let me introduce you to the cutest and deadliest creatures in the world! Meet the krinkles!

Krinkle Krusher is an action castle defense where you cast elemental spells to defend your kingdom from funny creatures called Krinkles.

After several generations of peace, they happen to come back exactly when the Ancient Tree bears its first fruits in centuries. Naturally, a cake was made from it. Don't be fooled by their cute looks; the Krinkles are insatiable and will devour anything in their path!

To defend your peaceful kingdom, you will take the role of the enchanted glove of the mighty Wizard. By making simple gestures you can cast powerful elemental spells to zap, freeze or even set the invaders on fire.

However, being a talking magic glove is not an easy task! You must decide quickly where to cast your spells, exploit your foes weaknesses, and always keep enough mana for eventual surprises. I am sure you will enjoy the several combos and different strategies we are preparing for you.

To quote: Hey Shovelers and Shovelettes! We're Yacht Club Games: a new game studio dedicated to creating fun and challenging gameplay! We aspire to both tug at your heartstrings, and delight you with levity and charm.

We're very proud to announce that our debut title, Shovel Knight, will be tunneling its way to PS4, PS3, and PS Vita next year! We hope everyone will enjoy the game!

Shovel Knight is a sweeping classic action adventure game with awesome gameplay, memorable characters, and an 8-bit retro aesthetic. It's a hot mashup of new and old that may remind you of Mega Man, Castlevania, or Dark Souls! You play as the eponymous Shovel Knight, a small knight with a huge quest.

Shovel Knight has two goals: to defeat the evil Enchantress and save his lost beloved. He wields a Shovel Blade: a multipurpose weapon whose techniques have now been lost to the ages. Always honest and helpful, Shovel Knight is a shining example of the code of Shovelry: Slash Mercilessly and Dig Tirelessly!

But, between Shovel Knight and his beloved stands a cadre of villainous knights. These terrible foes, known as The Order of No Quarter, have...

3w ago - Sony Director of Production Chris Cutliff posted up some videos today of MLB 15 The Show, which arrives on March 31, 2015 for PS4, PS3 and PS Vita platforms.

To quote: Moments ago on the PlayStation Experience Keynote stage, our team formally announced MLB 15 The Show for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation Vita, releasing on March 31st, 2015.

For 18 years, I have had the honor and privilege of being a part of what I selfishly believe is one of the most talented and devoted development teams in the industry, launching MLB titles on 6 different PlayStation platforms during that time. Last year marked our debut on PS4, and we're proud of the foundation we've laid for years to come.

In addition to enhanced visuals, new gameplay features, and an improved online experience, MLB 15 The Show offers a renewed focus on player emotion and personality. Our vision to deliver the most realistic baseball game doesn't stop there. For the first time ever, The Show will feature licensed equipment from the most recognizable brands in baseball.

It's early yet; we've got a lot of work to do, and so much more we're excited to show you. For now, please enjoy the video teaser and keep your eyes on theshownation.com...

XDev Announces Resogun is Blasting to PS3 and PS Vita on 12/23

3w ago - XDev Studio Europe's Pedro Sousa announced today that Resogun is blasting to PS3 and PS Vita on December 23, 2014.

To quote: Epic explosions; voxels crumbling in raging torrents; impossible maneuvers to dodge dozens of enemies. One year later, Resogun is still as mesmerizing as it ever has been on PS4, and I'm pleased to announce today that Resogun is coming to PS3 and PS Vita for $14.99.

That's right Resofans, starting December 23rd you'll be able to save the last humans anywhere, anytime.

The development team at Climax has done everything possible to make the PS3 and PS Vita versions of the game the very best they can be for each device, and I think you'll be very impressed with what they have managed to achieve.

Picking a game that was created specifically for PS4 and bringing it to PS Vita and PS3 is very difficult, and the hardest compromise to accept during development, especially in regard to performance and graphics, is that these platforms don't have the capability and power of PS4.

Duly, the biggest technical difference is that the PS Vita and PS3 games run at 30 instead of 60 frames per second. This was a very difficult decision to consider, but a very necessary one to allow the team to focus on what was possible and to make the best game possible...
