4d ago - Flippfly Co-founder Forest San Filippo posted up a Labyrinthia reveal video trailer today of Race the Sun which is due out Tuesday on PS4, PS3 and PS Vita platforms.

To quote: It was back in March when we announced that [Register or Login to view links] would be coming to PlayStation, and we've been working hard on the game ever since.

Today we are pumped to announce that the game is finally ready and will land on October 21st!

We really wanted things to feel great on every platform, so we've spent a lot of time refining the experience on each system. The result is that we have the game running at a full 60fps (at 1080p resolution) on both PS3 and PS4, and PS Vita is also looking and feeling great.

We have implemented cross-save and shared leaderboards on all supported platforms because we wanted to make the setup perfect for challenging friends to a highscore contest.

If you aren't familiar with Race the Sun, here are a few things your should know:

• Race the Sun is all about speed and survival
• You play as a solar-powered craft that...

Rumor: Minecraft PS4, PS3, PS Vita Full Version Free Due to PSN Glitch?

400°
5d ago - According to rumors today, many users (mostly European) are reporting that they were able to download and play a Minecraft PS4, PS3 and PS Vita full version for free due to a PSN glitch.

Below are the details, to quote: "European PlayStation users are currently able to get their hands on the PS3 and PS Vita versions of Minecraft for the grand cost of…nothing!

However, it’s not an intentional giveaway by Sony, it seems to be a glitch within the online store. The glitch happens when you go to the PlayStation online store via a web browser and select the free demo and then continue to add the complete version to your cart, resulting in the full version going through as a sale when no money has changed hands.

I don’t think Sony will be best pleased to find people doing this, so do so at your own risk otherwise you may find your account suspended.

Microsoft recently purchased the studio behind Minecraft for a reported $2.5 billion dollars. It’s safe to say that the folks over at Microsoft HQ would not be all too happy with Sony giving away their most valuable product for nothing."

If anyone has tried this PlayStation Network glitch feel...

Experiencing scenes from The Wolf Among Us finale again as they're put together in this trailer is kind of amazing for me - remembering this stuff still sends a shiver down my spine. It's very tense, a little bit creepy, and a LOT of awesome.

The series is based on DC/Vertigo Comics' Eisner Award-winning comic series FABLES by Bill Willingham. In short, it...

Vib Ribbon Releases on PS3 and PS Vita in North America Tomorrow

50°
2w ago - Sony President and CEO Shawn Layden announced today that Vib Ribbon finally releases on PS3 and PS Vita in North America tomorrow.

To quote: Apologies to have kept you waiting...

Hey everyone! If you saw our [Register or Login to view links] a few months back you may recall, amid all the great games and oversized hand gestures, that I gave a shout out to what I believe to be one of the most iconic games from PlayStation's first generation: Vib Ribbon.

I wanted to give Vibri some much-deserved, though belated, screen time as I felt this game really captured the crazy that PlayStation was keen to offer back then... and look to continue now with our outreach to the innovative and indie game community.

I figured Vib Ribbon was a perfect example, and today I'm pleased to announce that Vib Ribbon will finally make a long overdue release in the US, Canada, Latin America and Japan this week, with Europe following next week.

First, some quick backstory on a gaming legend. When Vib Ribbon first appeared in the PSone era, I was working for Sony Computer Entertainment Europe in London evaluating US and Japanese titles for possible release in Europe. One day we came upon a game developed by a team I admired very much: Masaya Matsuura...
