A-Men is Out Today for PS3 with PS Vita Cross Play Support

50°
31w ago - Digital Content Manager Olivier Latanicki at Namco Bandai has announced that A-Men is out today for PS3 complete with PS Vita cross play support!

To quote: Hi everyone! Care for some mind-twisting adventures in HD?

If you were among the hoards of people who spent countless days in the '90s playing games that involved guiding tiny, relentless creatures with green hair through hazardous obstacles to safety, then prepare yourself, because those days are back!

After the PS Vita version released in February, A-Men is back on to Playstation Network for PlayStation 3.

Developer Bloober Team has teamed up with Namco Bandai Games to bring A-MEN to the PS3 with bang up-to-date features that will satisfy you and your craving to show off your capabilities and tactical playing skills.

For those of you who haven't played the portable version yet, A-MEN is an action-puzzle game that will challenge you with a series of complex puzzles, expansive levels and worlds within a retro-style game. Chase down and get past all of the A-droid enemies and traps through a series of different worlds and levels.

Video: Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault Unzips PS Vita Support

50°
40w ago - Insomniac Games Production Director Shaun McCabe has announced today alongside a video that Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault unzips both PS Vita support and a Competitive Mode with details below!

To quote: Hey everyone, I'm Shaun McCabe, production director at Insomniac Games' North Carolina studio.

Since this is my first PS.Blog post, I'll briefly introduce myself. I joined the company in 2003 during the development of Ratchet & Clank: Up Your Arsenal, but I've been an Insomniac fan going all the way back to Disruptor on the PlayStation.

As you may have heard, yesterday we announced that our dynamic duo's latest adventure, Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault, is coming to both PS3 and PS Vita!

Working closely with our friends at Tin Giant, who are helping bring the game to PS Vita, we're delivering full cross-play and cross-save support. So, the ever-popular, "Well, I'd love to be playing Ratchet & Clank right now, but am stuck at the bus stop/office/police station/etc." can no longer apply.

Not only will the game feature cross-play and cross-save, but it's also part of a super-cool promotional offer where anyone who purchases Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault for PS3 via PlayStation...

Rumor: Sony Bringing PSOne Game Emulation Support to PS Vita?

300°
55w ago - Update: This rumor is now confirmed as true via Andriasang.com who state that PlayStation Vita version 1.8 Firmware will add PS Classics support.

To quote: "We still don't have a precise start date for PS Classics support on PlayStation Vita. But we do have something a bit more specific - a firmware version number.

Sony said today that PS Classics support will be added to Vita via the system's version 1.8 firmware update. As previously announced, this firmware update will be available some time during the Summer.

The version 1.8 firmware update was mentioned during Sony's announcement of the PlayStation 2 Game Archives service for PlayStation 3."

Today ryukyu22 has discovered PS1 Classic game Buzz Lightyear of Star Command on the PS Vita European PlayStation Store which sparked debate as to whether Sony is adding PSOne emulation support to the new handheld console.

The video game has since been removed, and below is what he said to say to quote:

"Sorry for the bad title i just didn't want to get people's hopes up as the game is not working at the moment. However, i would like to show what i did achieve.

Firstly i was happy to buy as i had money left over...

To quote: Hi everybody! This is Jakub from Grip Games, the folks who brought you The Impossible Game, MiniSquadron and One Epic Game. We are back to present you our newest creation - Foosball 2012 for PS3 and PS Vita.

The very first one for PlayStation 3 and PS Vita, so we made sure that we packed it up with lots of features and game modes, like various kinds of tables (American style, European style), customizations, ball types and trick shots to keep you entertained and experimenting for hours.

The World Tour single-player mode will let you travel across the globe and challenge AI opponents in nearly 30 locations. More social players can look forward to a local multiplayer for up to four and online multiplayer, where you can match against the rest of the world and rank up to become the table football champion.

PlayStation Move is also supported on PS3. If you own this magic wand, you can control Foosball 2012 exactly like you would control a real table football, with 1:1 movement...
