5w ago - Following up on the previous update, today dantezteam Tweeted a picture of what appears to be a way to activate full and demo PS Vita games using ReActPSN on a PS3 console running Custom Firmware.
Once activated using a PS3 on CFW and ReactPSN, the PlayStation Vita games are then transferred to Sony's PS Vita handheld console.
Currently there are no clear instructions or guide beyond the team stating "pkg-ps3-react-psvita-play" unfortunately so this is being considered a rumor until additional details surface.
Update: Digging into this it was an oversight in how the Brazilian PSN store worked. There was bug in that allow basically someone with PSN+ to keep their games without needing to be PSN+ member anymore.
Sadly, it been fixed, the outcry over it on twitter was that a lot of scene people knew and keep it secret not even informing those in Brazil regarding the bug or mistake by Sony's PSN store management.
16w ago - Cellar Door Games Designer Teddy Lee announced today that Rogue Legacy is coming to PS Vita, PS3 and PS4.
Below are the details, to quote: So if you guys have been surfing the web, you might have heard that Rogue Legacy is coming to PS Vita, PS3, and PS4. Well... it is! Pretty crazy stuff.
If you guys didn't watch the Sony Gamescom conference, you can check it out here. Feel free to watch for, like, 30 seconds, even though the rest of it is really cool.
Rogue Legacy had only been out for about 2 weeks before we were contacted by Sony, so we're blown away by how fast they reached out to us.
But Shahid and Shane have been great guys to work with, and we were able to get the a-okay to develop Rogue Legacy for all Sony platforms in a ridiculously short period of time. So yeah, go Sony! It's hard to believe that Rogue Legacy was all but unknown a short 4 months ago, and now we're still unknown and it's four months later.
If you've never played Rogue Legacy before, think of it as a genealogical Rogue-LITE. It takes a bunch of roguelike elements such as procedural generation, tough difficulty, and perma-death, and puts its own spin on it. For example, when you die you don't start from...
16w ago - Abstraction Games Creative Director Tj'ien Twijnstra confirmed today that Gunslugs is coming soon to PS Vita.
Below are the details, to quote: Hi everyone, I'm Tj'ien, creative director at Abstraction Games, and I'm more than excited to tell you that we'll be bringing Orange Pixel's highly addictive, retro-inspired, side-scrolling roguelike Gunslugs to PS Vita.
We came into contact with Gunslugs' creator Pascal Bestebroer - "indie game developer extraordinaire" - through the nice people at Sony Computer Entertainment, who suggested he get in touch with us after they were amazed by the work we did on Hotline Miami for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita.
We were tremendously honored to be referred by Sony and we were thrilled to be working with Pascal as he has created so many great, retro-inspired gems, that we felt we had no other choice than to jump onboard straightaway.
After we had worked on Knytt Underground and Hotline Miami, we're all really excited about the tremendous potential of the PS Vita and its unique input systems.
But the more traditional, natural feeling of the physical buttons, combined with the amazing OLED display, make the idea of bringing Gunslugs over a no-brainer from our perspective. In fact,...
20w ago - Grip Games CEO Jakub Mikyska posted up the first gameplay trailer below today for Atomic Ninjas on both PS3 and PS Vita platforms.
To quote: This is Jakub from Grip Games. A few weeks ago, I introduced you to our newest creation - Atomic Ninjas, for PS3 and PS Vita. I'm back with the very first gameplay trailer, to show you exactly what Atomic Ninjas is all about!
This 2.5D competitive shooter/platformer is going to be one of the most insane experiences you'll ever have with your PS3 and PS Vita! You'll fight in arenas full of danger against crazed ninjas in intense and funny matches. In order to win, you'll have to outsmart and outflank your opponents.
As you can see in the trailer, you cannot directly kill other ninjas (thanks to massive amounts of radiation and their healthy lifestyle). But there are dozens of conveniently placed hazards, like lasers, lava pits and fire that will do the job! You just need to find a way to get your opponents there and not become a roasted turkey yourself!
To help you in this uneasy task, we have added lots of weapons and super abilities. You'll be able to become invisible, fly on a rocket, use telekinesis, become an unstoppable hulk for a few moments, and many...
20w ago - Following up on Sony's release of PS Vita Firmware 2.12 Update and the news from Qwikrazor87, today some more PSP exploitable game details for PS Vita 2.12 allowing homebrew to run on VHBL have arrived.
This time, a vulnerability was found in Gamocracy One: Legend of Robot for PSP along with another undisclosed title with details below.
From Wololo: Exploitable Game for PS Vita 2.12 announced (VHBL)
You’ve been waiting a lot for this, we had to delay the ninja release for several reasons (one being that I shamelessly took 4 days of holiday last week, and therefore couldn’t have handled a public announcement at that time), but there it is, the public announce of the game used to run Qwikrazor87′s VHBL port for the Vita 2.12.
So, before we start, a few reminders:
VHBL is provided “as is” without any guarantee. In order to run VHBL, you will need to buy the specific game mentioned below and install it on your Vita. Keep in mind that the money you pay for the game goes to Sony and the developers of the game,...
