Video: Floating Cloud God Saves The Pilgrims is Free for PS Plus

50°
115w ago - Dakko Dakko Director Rhodri Broadbent has announced alongside the launch trailer reveal that Floating Cloud God Saves The Pilgrims is free starting today on PSN for PlayStation Plus subscribers!

To quote: Hi there, I'm Rhod from [Register or Login to view links] and I'd like to introduce you to our second game, Floating Cloud God Saves The Pilgrims.

If you've played our previous game, [Register or Login to view links], then you might already have guessed that we have a thing for literal game titles here!

This time (as the title suggests) your job as Cloud God is to keep your troupe of devoted followers safe on their long journey. It's no easy feat, as there are hordes of peculiar demons waiting across the game's seven worlds, all trying to pick off a pilgrim or two.

It's a game about protection. And shooting. Lots of shooting. The more enemies you shoot without getting hit, the more the pilgrims will love you.

Pilgrim love helps you get faster and more powerful, but getting hit will lose you all that love, and you'll need to work on your shoot-and-dodge skills to get back the hearts you lost. This cycle is the basis of the gameplay.

147w ago - Capcom Product Manager Mike Lunn has announced today that Resident Evil 4 hits PSN on Tuesday, and confirmed that PlayStation Plus subscribers are entitled to 50% off the game.

To quote: Now's your chance to relive one of the most critically acclaimed games of all time. Resident Evil 4 HD will be released via PlayStation Network on Tuesday, September 20th.

Five years after the Raccoon City outbreak, Leon S. Kennedy is back in action and on a new assignment. The President's daughter has been kidnapped by a mysterious cult in Europe and it's your mission to rescue her and make it out alive.

The entire Resident Evil 4 experience (including all bonus content from previous versions) has been remastered in high definition and will be a treat for both new fans and RE veterans.

The Resident Evil franchise had its beginnings on PlayStation 15 years ago and to help celebrate we're offering some sweet Resident Evil deals for PlayStation fans. At launch we're going to be giving everyone five free RE4 avatars to anyone who purchases Resident Evil 4 HD.

On top of that, all PlayStation Plus subscribers will get 50 percent off the price of Resident Evil 4 HD, bringing it down to just $9.99! To help get you caught up on the series leading up to RE4, we're offering the PSone...

Sony Outlines PlayStation Plus September Offers for Subscribers

500°
149w ago - Today PlayStation Store Director Grace Chen has outlined the PlayStation Plus September 2011 offers for subscribers, as follows:

Before we get to what's coming to PlayStation Plus, we wanted to let you know that starting today, we're making a slight change to how we communicate PlayStation Plus updates.

Instead of posting twice per month on what's coming to Plus, we're going to be making one post that gives an overview of all the content that's hitting Plus in that particular month.

So today's post will cover content coming in September, and the next post will hit in the first Monday of October. Of course, with every week's Store Update post, you'll know what's going on the Store for Plus on that week.

Now to the good stuff! We've got some great content this month coming free to Plus subscribers including PopCap's Plants vs. Zombies, the furious shoot-em-up Astro Tripper, and the final game in the SEGA Genesis Collection, Altered Beast. The value of all three of these titles adds up to more than a $24 savings, which doesn't include the additional minis and PSone Classics you'll get this month too.

This month also marks a special occasion as we're celebrating the Resident Evil 15th Anniversary with PSone Classics: Resident Evil Director's Cut, Resident Evil...

Creat Studios Reveals TerRover PSN Demo Hits Qore Tomorrow

50°
205w ago - Today Vice President of Development for Creat Studios Scott Hyman has revealed that tomorrow the TerRover PSN exclusive demo is arriving for Qore subscribers.

To quote: We've been working hard on this one for a while, and we're eager to let you get your hands on it and discover the engaging gameplay for yourselves.

You can do just that with the free demo of TerRover available with both versions of Qore tomorrow. Plus, you can watch the (hopefully not-embarrassing) interview with me at E3, chatting it up with [Register or Login to view links] about why the game is so much fun.

The TerRover is a cute little robot buggy with a big smile and warm heart in need of your help to find a new planetary home for him and his friends. The TerRover's controls aren't quite like anything else out there.

His head slides back and forth across his body as you change direction. One button press places his head under his body to turn him over. And most importantly, the left stick lets you pivot your TerRover up and down from either end. You'll need to master this skill in order to save the TerRover population!

You get weapons and tools, too. Choose from various chassis equipped with rocket launchers, magnet cables and more. They'll come in handy in tight...
