Videos: New PlayStation Move Gameplay and Shooting Peripheral

209w ago - Today we have some new PlayStation Move video footage, including the PS Move shooting peripheral, more Taiwanese Girls, a PS3 Ping Pong Demo, and The Shoot, Sport Champions, and Start The Party PlayStation 3 GamesCom 2010 demos.

For those who missed it, on the boxart of PlayStation Move games, underneath the PlayStation 3 logo banner, a blue bar with white letters indicates when a game supports the PlayStation Move.

When a game can only be played with the PlayStation Move, it will say "PlayStationŽMove Required".

When a game supports traditional DualShock 3 controls and PlayStation Move controls it will say "PlayStationŽMove Features".

















 

Video: PlayStation Move Hands-on PS3 Gameplay Footage

214w ago - Earlier this weekend we saw a PlayStation Move preview from the Qore July 2010 Episode, and today CVG (linked above) has shared another PS3 hands-on PS Move video courtesy of Gamestrust via YouTube.

The video is approximately 14 minutes in length, and includes hands-on PS3 gameplay with the PlayStation Move motion controller showcasing footage from The Shoot, Sports Champions, Move Party and KungFu Rider.

To quote: "It shows off footage from The Shoot, Sports Champions (table tennis and Frisbee throwing) and our favourite, KungFu Rider, in which you roll around a city in Japan on an office chair, grinding on poles and kicking suited businessmen in the face.

Video: PlayStation Move and Move Party Gameplay Footage

220w ago - For those who can't wait until this fall to experience Sony's PlayStation Move and Move Party first hand, user H0yTecnologia has shared a new gameplay footage video of it in action via YouTube today.

Although PlayStation Move is implemented on the existing PlayStation 3 console, Sony states that it is treating Move's debut as its own major "platform launch," planning an aggressive marketing campaign to support it.

In addition to selling the controllers individually, Sony also plans to provide several different bundle options for PlayStation Move hardware, such as a starter kit with a PS Eye, a Move motion controller, and motion-control enabled software, priced under $100 US.

To quote from the video's caption, roughly translated: "In HoyTecnologia have had the opportunity to test the Alpha version of peripherals and Sony has done a very good impression."
