12w ago - Following up on Sony's initial PS4 announcement, PlayStation 4 trailers and PS4 game pricing, today reports indicate that Sony may start mass production of the upcoming PlayStation 4 video game console in Q3 2013.

Below are the rumored details, to quote: "Sony Corp. admits that it does not have a mass-production PlayStation 4 box that it can bring out to the public. Nonetheless, the company seems to be pretty open about its plans regarding the new system and its current state. While the price of the PS4 is something that has yet to be determined, some reports point to the company’s alleged plans to start mass production of the device in Q3 2013.

98w ago - Today Aaron Lee of DigiTimes.com (linked above) reports that according to Taiwan makers Sony is rumored to start production of the PS4 console at the end of 2011.

To quote: Sony will have Taiwan-based partners begin production of PlayStation 4 (PS4) featuring body movement-based control like Kinect at the end of 2011 for launch in 2012, according to Taiwan-based component makers.

Foxconn and Pegatron Technology, assemblers of PS3, will undertake assembly of PS4 as well, the sources pointed out.

The planned shipment volume of PS4 in 2012 is at least 20 million units, the sources indicated.

157w ago - Q-Games Ltd. President and Executive Producer Dylan Cuthbert has revealed today to fans that PixelJunk Shooter 2 for PS3 is now in full production.

To quote: Well, I hope everyone has recovered from the PixelJunk sale bonanza we had last month - as far as I could tell people were buying up PixelJunk titles by the tenfold which is great!

For those that haven't already heard, PixelJunk Shooter 2 is in full production, full steam ahead, anchors away and all that... commotion to that order. I can't say much about it now, but it will have some features that are new to the PixelJunk series in general and will be bigger than the first game!

We're busy implementing all the ideas that were left on the drawing board for the first game to make Shooter 2 as jam-packed full of crazy fun as possible...

I'm pretty sure we won't make a Shooter 3 because everything and the kitchen sink (probably quite literally) is going into Shooter 2. Keep your eyes glued to the Blog (in-between playing PixelJunk games of course) for more info on this in the future!
