163w ago - This is my latest PowerMad video review of Battlefield 1943 for Sony's PlayStation 3 entertainment system.

I know this Electronic Arts game is a bit old (hit PSN last July), but I figured it would be worth my time to do one small PS3 review on it.

A brief overview: Battlefield 1943 casts players as either the United States Marine Corps (USMC) or the Imperial Japanese Navy (IJN) with up to 24 players on three classic Battlefield maps: Wake Island, Guadalcanal, and Iwo Jima.

After players collectively reached 43 million kills, their respective console versions received access to an additional Coral Sea map; the PC version will have the map available on release.

According to the game's development team, accessibility and value were the main reasons the game went digital as opposed to a retail launch.

From what I understand these codes sometimes DO NOT WORK. I have not used this code, but since they sometimes don't work, I can not guarantee that it will. But the other one I had did indeed work, so this one should as well.

To get the code to use for PSN if you win the contest. You first have to take the code I give you and log into your PSN on godofwar.com/skin. Then they will email you the PSN code. I know it seems odd, but that's what you have to do for whatever reason.

166w ago - First Impression: After three years of waiting, I was excited to finally bring home the long awaited God of War 3. I took the disc out of the case, put it into my PlayStation 3 gaming console, and was very impressed with the opening video.

After watching the events leading up to God of War 3 unfold in a stylistic silhouette art type, I was immediately drawn into the game play. I was impressed with the art style, graphics, and game play. I began thinking what to rate the game right away; based on the opening.

After a few moments of awe, I placed the game at a 9.9 and almost rated it 10 (If it wasn't for a really bad audio clip). However that 9.9 has since changed. After the first few minutes of playing the game, and a few problems, my high 9.9 quickly came down.

The battle with the water horse at the beginning of the game fed my long awaited God of War fix. Not only was I fighting on the back of mother earth, but I was fighting gods on the back of mother earth, while the terrain constantly changed. One time I actually had to fight the water horse upside down, which is pretty difficult if you don't know what you're doing.





A little further down the line, you actually get to see Aries again in his ice encased...

186w ago - It's time for my brand new Call of Duty 6 PS3 review. I'm sorry, I mean Call of Duty 6: Modern Warfare 2... Wait I don't think that's right either. Alright one last try, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, that's the title.

I love the Call of Duty Franchise, but I feel that they may be getting a little out of hand with the titles of their games.

Although Activision isn't the only company to mess this up, I find it quite annoying, and a person who doesn't follow the series very closely wont be able to distinguish in what order the games came out without doing research beforehand.

A minor complaint but the question is "Where does this fit into the Call of Duty series?" and quite simply put, Activision decided to split the series into two different game titles.









Modern Warfare made by Infinity Ward, and World at War made by Treyarch. Although the first Modern Warfare game was called Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, it is not a part of the original series and instead is classified under their new separate call of duty series.

Like I said before I believe it's a little too confusing for the average person, so I suggest their...
