How to Get a High Score in Don't Die, Mr. Robot on PS Vita

50°
1w ago - Today Mike Daw at Infinite State Games shared details on how to get a high score in Don't Die, Mr. Robot on PS Vita below.

To quote: The game formerly known as "Avoid Droid" has undergone a name change since you last heard about it... We really liked the original name as it perfectly summed up the game in just two words, but a question we had to ask ourselves here at Infinite State Games: did we like the name more than we liked not going to court?

Short answer: no.

You see, the word "droid" is a registered trademark of Lucasfilms Ltd. And we're pretty sure they have more lawyers than our crack team of... zero.

So we say goodbye to Avoid Droid and hello to Don't Die, Mr. Robot!

It's a fruity arcade dodge-em-up with the focus on adrenaline fuelled, skin-of-your-teeth dodging, score chasing, and endless replayability. It's got everything a true fan of arcade games needs: fruit, explosions, multipliers... And we're really excited to bring Don't Die, Mr. Robot! to PS Vita this year.

Mr. Robot loves fruit! But whenever he tries to eat a fruit, it explodes. Poor Mr. Robot! It's not all bad though because exploding fruit destroys the endless hordes of robotic enemies hell bent on crushing, zapping, chomping, or otherwise making Mr. Robot die.

PlayStation Now Open Beta Launches Today on PS Vita and PS TV

250°
2w ago - PlayStation Now Director of Marketing Peter Jamshidi announced that their PlayStation Now Open Beta launches today on PS Vita and PS TV platforms.

Below are the details, to quote: Starting today, the PlayStation Now Open Beta will be available on both the PS Vita and [Register or Login to view links] systems in much of the mainland U.S. and Canada, in addition to already being available on PS4 and PS3*.

Our vision for PS Now is to make it possible for more people than ever to have quick and easy access to PS3 games, making it as easy to stream these games as it is to stream TV, movies, and music.

PS Vita is an important part of that vision, as you'll be able to rent a game on one device, like PS4, then continue playing on your PS Vita or vice versa.

That's possible because of our cloud technology, which lets you play select PS3 games from our library of over 150 PS Now titles including God of War: Ascension on both a home console and a handheld device without the need for game downloads, installs, or patches.

PS Now makes the value of PS TV even better. The system, which launches today and starts as low as $99.99 MSRP, also provides one of the most affordable ways to get access to our library of PS3 games available...

Punishing Platformer Fenix Rage is Coming to PS Vita and PS4

50°
4w ago - Green Lava Studios CEO Eduardo Ramirez announced today that punishing platformer Fenix Rage is coming to PS Vita and PS4 platforms.

Below are the details, to quote: Hello PlayStation fans! My name is Eduardo Ramirez, founder and lead developer at Green Lava Studios, a Costa Rican based indie game studio.

As big PlayStation fans, we were very excited to make the announcement that Fenix Rage, our hardcore 2D action-platformer, would be coming to PS4 in early 2015.

It's been amazing to read all the comments from people looking forward to playing our game on PS4, and we're getting great feedback from current players of the PC version on how to make improvements for the PS4 version.

After reading several PlayStation blogs and forums asking us to make this game for PS Vita, I'm also very excited to announce today that we will also be bringing Fenix Rage to PS Vita - yay! Our plan is to have it available at the same time as the PS4 version early next year.

We're very early in the process of planning out what gameplay changes we want to make for both the PS4 and PS Vita version, as well as what types of new features we like to add.

We definitely want PlayStation fans to enjoy the addicting fast-paced action of our game and perhaps even add new challenges...
