Sony Unveils PlayStation Plus: February 2015 Free PSN Games

200°
1h ago - Sony Senior Community Specialist Kristine Steimer unveiled the upcoming PlayStation Plus free PSN games for February, 2015 today!

To quote: This is a pretty awesome month for PlayStation Plus members with a variety of quality titles across PlayStation platforms entering the service.

On PlayStation 4 you'll receive one of the coolest games from last year - the critically acclaimed strategy/action RPG Transistor. PS4 owners will also get Apotheon, an action platformer set in Greek mythology, the day it releases on PlayStation Store.

PlayStation 3 owners can explore the ins and outs of Tokyo with Yakuza 4 or sneak about The City stealing what you can in Thief.

PlayStation Vita owners can see how many generations of champions it takes to beat the quirky Rogue Legacy and jump around as a little boy with a big gun (not so much for shooting enemies as it is launching you around) in Kick & Fennick, which is also releasing day and date in PlayStation Plus.

All of these games will be free for Plus members starting February 3rd. If you want to see these titles in action, check out the video below. When you watch, you may notice that the voice over has changed a bit, and my friend Ryan Clements is narrating instead of me.

He'll be handling the Plus communications...

New Sony PlayStation and PSN Games for January 27, 2015

4d ago - Sony Social Media Specialist Ryan Clements is here with the new PlayStation and PSN games for the upcoming week below, as follows:

It's a special week in the world of PlayStation, as the legendary adventure game Grim Fandango returns to the spotlight in a gorgeous, remastered edition for PS4 and Vita. Welcome back, Manny!

In Grim Fandango Remastered, players are (re)introduced to Manny Calavera, a travel agent working at the Department of Death. Manny sells travel accommodations to souls on their way to eternal rest, until he gets tugged into a conspiracy that's a little more high stakes than just "life or death."

Grim Fandango has been meticulously enhanced with a new lighting system, higher resolution assets, and even remastered audio to sweeten an already spectacular score. For old fans and newcomers alike, Grim Fandango is required playing in this curriculum we call video games.

Speaking of the dead - or the undead, in this case - Dying Light arrives on PS4 with an open-world apocalypse. Traverse massive environments littered with infected in order to survive. Gather items, craft weapons, and outrun all the hungry zombies that have unanimously elected you as their next meal.

There's more games coming, though, so read on for the full list. And as always,...

New Sony PlayStation and PSN Games for January 20, 2015

700°
2w ago - Sony Social Media Specialist Ryan Clements is here with the new Sony PlayStation and PSN games for the upcoming week today, as follows:

Grab your best purple suit, folks, because the 3rd Street Saints are back in business and ready to embark upon a dangerous mission through fire, brimstone, and a legion of tormented souls.

Yes, this is really happening. Saints Row IV: Re-Elected and Saints Row: Gat out of Hell are on the way to PlayStation.

For those of you that missed the original Saints Row IV, Re-Elected brings the super-powered open-world to PS4 with all the DLC packed right in.

The Boss has been elected as President of the United States, but a brutal alien invasion has trapped him (or her) inside a computer simulation. Free Boss from the simulation, save planet Earth, and be stylish as all get-out.

And following these sweeping events, Saints Row: Gat out of Hell is a standalone expansion that finds the Boss unwillingly engaged to the Devil's daughter. Time for Gat and Kinzie to plow through the depths of the nightmarish underworld and get him out.

And that's just the start of this week's new games. Head below for the full list, and enjoy the Drop!
