Video: Gunsport PS4 Trailer: A World Renewed on PlayStation 4

5d ago - Necrosoft Games Director Brandon Sheffield posted up a PS4 trailer video today of Gunsport: A World Renewed on PlayStation 4 with details below.

To quote: We previously introduced Necrosoft Games' Gunsport to you back in April - it's a cyberpunk volleyball with guns-style eSport for the PS4, coming in late 2015.

After a successful showing at the PlayStation Experience, we'd like to finally reveal to you our first teaser trailer. In it, you'll get a glimpse into the world of Gunsport - a world without war.

In the alternate future of Gunsport, humanity has lost its taste for war, and regional pride now takes the form of sport and performance, much like football or soccer does in America and Europe. But each region, many of which were newly formed after the fall of war, has achieved its new found peace in a unique way.

Today we will tell you about one of those: Neo Tokyo. Neo Tokyo reflects a Japan that is consumed by technology, much like you see in the real Tokyo of today. But Neo Tokyo also marries this with another real Tokyo trend - the desire by some to return to a time of master craftsmanship, strong national identity, and creation.

This is why the Neo Tokyo you'll see in Gunsport appears to be so analog focused - with neon signs, personally crafted...

Pillar on PS4: New PlayStation 4 Trailer, Soundtrack Released

6w ago - Idea Factory International's David Alonzo revealed a new PlayStation 4 trailer video and soundtrack for Pillar on PS4 today with details below.

To quote: Pillar is a collection of minigames, where each game represents a different type of personality that we find in people. You can read about some of the inspirations for the game on my first PS.Blog post, but today I have a couple of exciting new things to share with you!

First, we've released a trailer for the game you can view below. Hopefully this gives you a feel for how the game will play, and adds context to the "telling a 'story' through gameplay mechanics" idea I touched on in the last post.

Primarily you could say Pillar is a puzzle game, but there are elements of stealth, strategy and exploration sprinkled throughout the different games/characters.

The next bit of news I have is that we've released the soundtrack for Pillar! The music is a very important part of the game. Since I was in the rare position of being both the musician and designer, I took extra care to make sure the music and gameplay are cohesive.

8w ago - Hello Games Managing Director Sean Murray revealed new No Man's Sky PlayStation 4 trailers today with details below for PS4 fans!

To quote: Hello! I'm Sean from Hello Games, and I'm having a bit of a crazy weekend here in Vegas!

A year ago today we first revealed our game called No Man's Sky. These twelve months have been life changing for all of us at our little studio. Your response to what we're making has been inspiring, affirming, and only sometimes totally terrifying. But in the best way

We've only shown the game off twice, once at VGX's last year, and then again at E3. Since E3 we've been working incredibly hard, and I know some people were keen to see more of the game.

No Man's Sky is a science-fiction game, set in an infinite procedural universe. It's a hard game to summarize sometimes, so I always want us to release direct gameplay, to just capture moments from the game, without lots of cuts. Yesterday at The Gaming Awards, we gave a glimpse of more gameplay.

I'm also incredibly excited to announce that 65daysofstatic, probably my favorite band, is going to be writing a new album of music inspired by NMS. Their music has always provided the soundtrack to everything we've shown...

Video: Can You Survive the Distance PS4 on PlayStation 4?

9w ago - Refract Developer Jordan Hemenway posted up a fresh PS4 video trailer today asking fans 'Can You Survive the Distance?' showcasing Distance on PlayStation 4 below.

To quote: Hi there! My name is Jordan Hemenway and I'm one of the developers at Refract, a Seattle-based indie studio.

I'm excited to finally unveil that we're bringing our survival racer Distance to PS4 in 2015, and you'll be able to play it at PlayStation Experience this weekend!

Distance is what we're calling a survival racing game. It takes the intense action of arcade racing and places it in an explorable, atmospheric world. The environments are mysterious and deadly with treacherous obstacles around every corner. Instead of doing laps on a loop, you'll be trying to survive from point A to point B.

Fortunately you control a unique car that allows you to boost, jump, rotate, and even fly. Instead of being constrained to the track, you can break away at any point and find your own path. You can even drive upside down or on buildings and walls parkour-style if you like.

Multiplayer takes this to the next level. To overtake your opponents you'll have to use all of the car's abilities at your disposal. For example, in Sprint...
