Yah, the new Portal is bright- it's a stock theme and if it floats we will customize it later. Our Forums are also back online and brighter too, again another stock style which will likely be updated once we have some freetime.
Our Staff isn't the only one who can post news here now, anyone can and link to their own page with the related files, etc in their articles. This is now a community effort to keep people updated on the latest PS3 and other news that would interest techies and gamers alike.

There are two versions of Sony's upcoming real driving simulator Gran Turismo 5 Prologue here at the 2007 Leipzig Games Convention, though it's probably fairer to call them slightly different aspects of the same game. In fact, if you want to be entirely accurate, you could say that there are actually three versions of the Gran Turismo series, if you count the downloadable Gran Turismo demo that's currently available on the PlayStation Network. Nonetheless, as we were roaming the massive Sony space in Hall 3 of the Leipziger Messe in search of all things Gran Turismo, our focus was on the two versions of Prologue.
The first version featured eight racing cabinets set up to show off the game in the way a game like this is supposed to be played: with racing seats (which proved to be nearly too narrow for our frame), a full HD screen, and a Logitech wheel-and-pedal setup. Update #2: We now have the original (Forum) accounts working with the Portal, so that you can use your existing one to login and then submit news or comments. Noob2psp has just released a new homebrew application which has the following functions - restore dead pixels, change CPU speed, restore the defauly XMB theme and the ability to BRICK your PSP (to test Pandora's Battery).

Update: According to Sony, SonyStyle.com is shifting inventory from its retail stores to the site to meet web demand.
Sony elaborated on previous comments made about 60GB PS3 inventory stock on Wednesday, confirming that only retail supply of the $499 machine remains and suggesting that the expected 80GB price drop is imminent.
80GB PS3 bundle to drop to $499? We no longer have any inventory in SCEA warehouses. All inventory has been purchased and shipped to retailers, Sony's Dave Karraker said in an email.
We don't have visibility as to if that is on their store shelves or in their warehouses at this time. However, based on inventory reports from our retailers, there is ample supply still left in the channel.
On Tuesday, it was revealed that Sony's online inventory had been fully depleted. In July, after slashing the PS3 price by $100, the company said that the now discontinued 60GB PS3 would be available for several months... More »

Just updated slightly, now upon bootup there is no text, simply press the left shoulder button to enable. You can then disable by pressing the right shoulder button, should clear up some issues.
You now need ms0:/seplugins/XMB.txt. Inside this file you should type the full path to extra plugins. Up to 5 plugins can be loaded at a
time, see the XMB.txt file for an example.
For the next update I'll add a small config file so you can change the order of the date etc.
