100°
2w ago - Third Party Production Sony Director Gio Corsi announced today at PlayStation Experience that 3PP is bringing more titles to PS Vita!

To quote: Hey PlayStation Fans, throughout 2014 the Third Party Production team has been working with our partners across the game industry to bring all kinds of exciting, diverse and fun titles to our favorite portable powerhouse.

During the [Register or Login to view links] keynote in Las Vegas, we announced some terrific new titles for the Vita:

The legendary classics Suikoden I & II, the single screen competitive chaos of Towerfall: Ascension, the gorgeous Tactical Strategy RPG The Banner Saga, the ludicrous suburban Octopus simulator Octodad: Dadliest Catch, the craziest time traveling shooter of all time, Super Time Force Ultra and the latest entry in the legendary shambling zombie franchise, Resident Evil Revelations 2.

All this and that's not even including all the other great Vita content we announced, like, Bastion, Darkest Dungeon, Severed, Shovel Knight and Broken Age: the Complete Adventure.

Whether you're into twitchy arcade action, deep strategy games with epic tales, or clumsy mollusks that have trouble with the most basic of tasks, there's...

The Jackbox Party Pack Launches Today on PS4 and PlayStation 3

50°
4w ago - Jackbox Games General Manager Mike Bilder announced that the Jackbox Party Pack launches today on PS4 and PlayStation 3 platforms.

Below are the details, to quote: Greetings from Chicago and the Jackbox Games studios, where the harsh hand of Father Winter has begun its annual spanking motion toward our pale, gamers' buttocks.

It's this time of year that we like to gather our friends and family near, enjoy some hot toddies after we look up what hot toddies are again, and fire up some party games on the old PS3 or pretty-new PS4.

This year, in time for the holidays, we at Jackbox Games have attempted to take matters into our own hands and create the ultimate collection of party games.

A variety pack of games - all funny, all unique - that you can start up on any occasion and select the game that most suits your fancy at that moment. And most importantly, games where a bunch of people can play without the need for a bunch of controllers.

So today we announce the release of 200 celebratory white doves, and also the launch of The Jackbox Party Pack, a 5-game bundle of new games, including the brand new You Don't Know Jack 2015.

We think the price is ridiculously cheap (cheaper than the last You Don't Know Jack release on PS3 was all by itself). And...

6w ago - Sony Marketing Manager Mark Valledor shared a video (Part 1) today spotlighting the LittleBigJourney of LittleBigPlanet 3 to PS4 below.

To quote: Over the years, I've had the privilege of working with the brightest minds in the industry to help launch some truly remarkable games - emotional adventures (Shadow of the Colossus), memorable characters (Parappa the Rapper), technological wonders (The Eye of Judgment), thrilling online action (Warhawk) and blockbuster shooters (Killzone). But one title stands out from all the rest.

PS4 Hacking: The State of Things Part III: I/O Vulnerability Analysis by SKFU

650°
13w ago - Following up on his previous update, today Sony PlayStation 4 hacker SKFU shared an update on PS4 hacking discussing the state of things Part III featuring I/O Vulnerability Analysis with details below.

To quote: PS4 - The State of Things Part III: I/O Vulnerability Analysis

After we checked the environment of the PS4, we should continue with more detailed analysis where, how and what we can im- & export from the system to actually affect it.

Let's see what our general I/O possibilities are first:

USB

Have you noticed the application "SHAREfactory" on your PS4? One of it's interesting features is to import music files via USB. Vulnerability? Maybe. At least [Register or Login to view links] has all actual patches applied.

SHAREfactory USB music import. Also useful as mediaplayer

Another USB feature is the import and export of screenshots, gameplay videos and savegames. Worth to check I'd say.

HDD

As expected the HDD is encrypted so you can't do much here, yet. But remember the PS3...
