The EBOOT is for the game Damage Inc Pacific Squadron WWII (FW 4.11) and works on 3.41 / 3.55 CFW.

118w ago - Following up on his previous revision, today PlayStation 3 homebrew developer [Register or Login to view links] has updated his PS3 Custom Firmware to version 3.6 for 3.55 CFW users with details on the changes below.

To quote: v3.6 Changelog

  • Updated the system version spoof to 4.25 to prevent accidental system updates --> at least from Game Discs ( internet/Sony communication is not blocked to allow future PSN access addition if possible, that's why you see the Update message when you try to Log-In to PSN ) so if anyone Insists to Update... go ahead, it's possible...
  • Please note that this CFW is an update to v:3.4 , it doesn't have any 3.56/3.60 keys like the EXPERIMENTAL CFW v:3.5
It is so stable and doesn't have any problem with Blu-Ray discs playback because the loaders are not patched like they are in v:3.5

118w ago - Following up on his previous spoofer, today French PlayStation 3 scene developer SonGoku84 (aka [Register or Login to view links]) has released what he calls SGK Enable / Disable Spoof for PS3 Firmware 4.25 to access PSN again with Custom Firmware (CFW).

Currently it's getting mixed reports whether it works properly or not (some say FckPSN is still required), but for those who wish to give it a try it's below with a rough translation (via ps-addict.fr/forum/sgk-enable-disable-spoof-t7132.html#p77180), as follows:

To quote, roughly translated: I believe we all know, tested on CEX and DEX 3.55 is feasible (working but with an 80023110 error). Program still finished before September 11 into PSN, the the camouflage version number 4.21 the camouflage host ID is all zeros.
