193w ago - SCEA Public Relations Rep Jennifer Hallett has confirmed that Sly Collection, The Fight: Lights Out and SingStar Dance are all officially hitting PS3 today alongside some PlayStation 3 DLC packs.

To quote: Three great PS3 titles are hitting store shelves today: The Fight: Lights Out, SingStar Dance, and The Sly Collection are now available for $39.99 and make a great buy for anyone on your holiday shopping list.

For the underground bare-knuckle brawling fanatic or family fitness buff, The Fight: Lights Out takes the fighting genre to a new level of realism as the PlayStation Move tracks players' movements with one-to-one precision as they brawl their way to the top of the underground fighting circuit (under the tutelage of one Danny Trejo).

The Fight: Lights Out features a robust single-player career mode, online and offline multiplayer, a calorie counter feature, and is playable in optional stereoscopic 3D to create an immersive interactive experience.

MAG PS3 Escalation Add-On Pack and Patch v2.02a Arrives Today

194w ago - Last week we reported on the MAG Escalation expansion patch heading to PlayStation 3, and now Jeremy Dunham has confirmed that the add-on pack and PS3 patch v2.02a will arrive today- November 4, 2010.

To quote: Our MAG "Escalation" add-on pack has seen a short delay from its original release date of November 2. The good news is that the postponement is a short one and that our new DLC will be available starting tomorrow, November 4.

As a thank you to our loyal fans, we've activated a "Double XP" bonus of +100% to MAG as a whole, which stacks with other in-game bonuses for quite an XP haul (note: the "Directives" queue will not award extra XP during this period).

Sony Confirms MUBI Online Cinema is Live Today on PlayStation 3

194w ago - A few days ago it was announced, and today Sony alongside MUBI Founder & CEO Efe Cakarel have confirmed that the online cinema service is live beginning today on PlayStation 3.

To quote: [Register or Login to view links] is your own little cinema, like a never-ending film festival, bringing all the wonderful discoveries of international cinema to your home.

The new service is now available in UK, Ireland, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Norway, France, Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Australia, and New Zealand. If you're in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, and Portugal, don't worry, MUBI will be available in your home next week, Wednesday, November 10.

You can now download the MUBI application from PlayStation Store for free and then find it under the video icon on XMB. MUBI lets you stream more than 300 of some of the most visionary independent, international and classic films directly to your PS3.
