Version 1.1.3 features a number of tweaks and bug fixes, including improved audio processing and support for displaying thumbnails of ROM images in the file browser.

Download: PSP7800 v1.1.3 for Custom Firmware / PSP7800 v1.1.3 for Firmware 1.5

What's new in version 1.1.3:

* Sound improvement, new prosystem.dat file & NTSC Palette fix by Carpy (aka Danno)
* A thumbnail image is now displayed in the file requester
while selecting any file with the same name of a previously
saved game.
It might be very helpful to recognize that game later if you
have thousand different games in your rom folder !

(games such as Xevious use FIRE2 for fire so it is better this way)
* In the emulator menu you can go directly to keyboard and settings
menu using the L-Trigger key.
* Fix IR keyboard issue with fw >= 3.80 for FAT PSP
* Fix random black screen issue
* Bug fix in the low battery watchdog

Games for Windows Live Now Free

250°
318w ago - Effective immediately, Microsoft has dropped the regular subscription-based Gold plan on its Games for Windows Live service, allowing PC gamers to play titles under the GFWL banner online with others completely free of charge.

The move includes titles that support cross-platform gameplay between the PC and Xbox 360, such as Lost Planet: Colonies and Universe at War.

Additionally, Microsoft plans to introduce a completely new marketplace interface for GFWL this fall, featuring a variety of both paid and free content, ranging from playable demos to downloadable content for existing games.

To quote: At the Gamefest 2008 event on Tuesday, Microsoft announced that all Games for Windows Live multiplayer features are now free. These features -- including multiplayer achievements, matchmaking, cross-platform play with the Xbox 360, GFW voice chat, and more -- previously required a GFW Live Gold account. The change is effective immediately and across all GFW titles, both past and future.

50°
320w ago - An official way to display your PSN ID on various Web sites... Obviously, you will need to have a PSN account. You will also need to sign up for a PlayStation Underground account as well if you do not already have one.

Linking to the two of them together will allow you access to the PLAYSTATION Network Portable ID. The PSN portable ID "is a visual summary of your PLAYSTATIONŽNetwork account, including your Avatar, "About Me" message and Online ID."

There is even an HTML code provided for you to display this information wherever you please.

You can also now access your Friend List via the PSU -- in addition to the information on their portable ID, you will see their online status. If online, you can view their comment/status and what game they are currently playing. If they are offline, you can see when they were last online. At this time, you cannot manage your Friend List via the PSU.

So what are you waiting for? Link your accounts up HERE.

Then go to your "MY ACCOUNT" page, and on the middle left side you will see, "PLAYSTATIONŽNetwork Friend List", and like in my image below, I can see that Hazer is online & what game he is playing from via my PC. This is a nice feature to see who's on their...
