Corpse Party: Book of Shadows on PSP This Winter, Sale Tomorrow

100°
90w ago - XSeed Localization Specialist Tom Lipschultz has announced today that Corpse Party: Book of Shadows is coming this Winter alongside a sale on PSN tomorrow.

To quote: Corpse Party on PSP. What more can you say about it? In my previous PlayStation.Blog entries, I've likened it to horror classics such as Clock Tower and Fatal Frame.

I've talked about how it's one of the creepiest, most effective horror games I've ever played, and how its unique visuals, its 3D binaural audio and its storytelling methods help give it an uncomfortable, unforgettable atmosphere. And you, fair players... you agreed with me.

You played it late at night with headphones on, just as I suggested, and it kept you awake. It haunted your nightmares and made you jump every time your house creaked or your neighbor's kids smacked the wall... until you realized, wait a minute, I don't have any neighbors!

And then you were never heard from again...Presumably because you were too busy getting every wrong end in the game, of course. It's hard to resist the charm of those horrible, horrible deaths, after all! Call it morbid curiosity if you will, but we all know you, like Morishige, get a certain sadistic thrill out of seeing (or, more often, hearing) these characters you've come to know and love get killed,...

Below are the details, to quote: This year we've been rolling out some great value offerings for PS3 owners who may have missed some of our past classics, from God of War Saga to the Ratchet & Clank Collection.

Today, we're happy to announce that we have yet another sweet collection coming your way this winter – The Resistance Collection.

The Resistance Collection will include all three of the critically acclaimed PS3 Resistance games from Insomniac Games - Resistance: Fall of Man, Resistance 2, and Resistance 3.

The Amazing Spider-Man PS3 DLC Swings to PSN Tomorrow

200°
94w ago - Beenox Producer Stephane Gravel has announced today that The Amazing Spider-Man PS3 DLC will be swinging to PSN tomorrow!

To quote: We'll be launching four Amazing Spider-Man DLC packs on PlayStation Network tomorrow, starting with the Stan Lee Adventure and Rhino Challenge, as well as two new packs - The Lizard Rampage and Oscorp Search & Destroy.

In deciding what new content would interest fans of the game, we realized the only thing that could compare to playing as the webhead himself was to let players step into the shoes of other notable characters: The Lizard, Rhino, and my personal favorite, Stan Lee.

Plus, you can also fight crime within cool retro-arcade inspired mini-games through Spider-Man's in-game smartphone. Here's what you can expect from each of the DLC packs coming your way.

In The Lizard Rampage Pack, you'll play as The Lizard on a quest to stop Oscorp from releasing a cross-species virus blast into the city. With your devastating attacks and speed, you can create chaos throughout the city on a massive scale, using your powerful tail swipes to rip through Oscorp guards or claw strikes to knock down the toxic towers placed around the city.

The more you destroy, the more bonus points you'll earn! But that's not all: In addition to playing...
