Tomorrow we will be releasing a new system software update (v4.20) for PlayStation 3 which will include a few minor updates in order to strengthen functionality and improve your overall experience.
As mentioned in our previous blog post, system software update (v4.10) added a feature that enabled you to hear your own voice through the Wireless Stereo Headset when playing multiplayer modes. This type of audio feedback is known as "sidetone."
Based on your comments, system software update (v4.20) will improve sidetone audio performance by giving you the option to select one out of five levels for microphone audio, or turn the feature off completely.
To quote, roughly translated: PS3 CFW Exclusive - Modern Warfare 2: Update 1:13 patched!
The update requires normally the 1:13 Fiirmware 3.60! It is the original update 1.13, which was patched with the available keys for CFWS. Since this gamble some Modern Warfare 2 is also online, we certainly have enough testers for the whole.
Feedback is absolutely desirable. The E3 Tech team was able to test itself does not matter because they were not prepared for it. I've just tested the update myself and it works cool.
The Modern Warfare 2 Update 1:13 patched (test version) is for the BLES00686. Possibly. you'll have to rename the folder with you
and the switch...
51w ago - Today Sony PlayStation 3 hackers Cyberskunk and evilsperm of Team Rebug have released a PS3 4.11 Version Spoofer 2.2 for 3.55 CFW and also a Rebug Update Package 0.7 (3.55.2) which temporarily restores PSN access once again on Custom Firmware!
While this is great news for the time being to play 3.55 titles (3.56+ won't work) online, Sony will likely release a PlayStation 3 Firmware update to block the new method being used in coming days in order to resecure PlayStation Network with an updated PSN Auth X-Platform-Passphrase (which resides in a decrypted VSH.SELF) and prevent PS3 Custom Firmware users from gaining access unfortunately.
If you are unsure if a PlayStation 3 game or patch update will work on PSN via PS3 CFW, simply extract the PARAM.SFO from the PKG and view it using a PS3 PARAM.SFO Editor to examine the PS3_SYSTEM_VER value. If it is 03.5500 or below the game will work online and the patch update can be installed.

58w ago - Following up on the previous update, today Fun Bits Interactive Team Lead Chris Millar has announced that the free Escape Plan ppdate is now live for PlayStation Vita owners!
To quote: Today, Escape Plan owners will be happy to see new content popping up on their Vita for download.
The first pack, Bakuki's Lair, is a FREE level pack that adds 19 prequel-puzzle rooms to the adventures of Lil and Laarg. To download the levels, just update the game from Escape Plan's LiveArea directly on your PS Vita.
Fans of Escape Plan have helped push the game into the #1 spot on PSN worldwide, and so we're happy to report that we are improving the experience with a handful of adjustments that were requested directly from gamers.
Players can now squeeze Lil while swiping, front and back taps are more precise, earning stars is just based on time and there are some more hints in sticky situations.
Our plan for Escape Plan is to continue supporting fans and community worldwide by growing the game and updating the title with new features. If you haven't yet picked up Escape Plan, it's available now on PSN for $14.99.
