82w ago - Namco Bandia Games Community Manager Rich Bantegui has unveiled the Unveils DualShock 4 Controller today which pushes the boundaries of play.

To quote: Hi Everyone! It's a special day at PlayStation, and I hope all of you had a chance to watch the livestream of PlayStation Meeting 2013 in New York, where we just unveiled PlayStation 4.

One of the most exciting components of our next-generation platform is DUALSHOCK 4, the new wireless controller that combines with PlayStation 4 to deliver new gameplay experiences that have never been possible before.

I'd like to give you a tour of DUALSHOCK 4 and the features that will provide game developers the freedom to create brand new experiences that previously were limited to their imaginations.

Design

Motion control is enabled by a new highly sensitive six-axis sensor
Dual analog sticks fine-tuned for better precision plus improved surface materials and shape for more delicate manipulation
L2/R2 buttons on the top of the controller employ a curved design for easier, smoother interaction

A new "Options" button combines the functions of the DUALSHOCK 3's "Select"...

Sony Unveils OMG Zombies: The Final Weekly Free PS Mobile Game

50°
82w ago - Sony Director of Emerging Platforms Chris Mahoney has announced that OMG Zombies is the final weekly free PS Mobile game available today!

Below are the details, to quote: It seems people can't get enough of the undead. [Register or Login to view links]'s OMG Zombies – the last of our six free PS Mobile games - casts you as the sole survivor of a police team that has been attacked by (you guessed it) zombies. Your mission: tear through hordes of zombies across a maze of levels, and escape the city.

Your progress in this game depends on the amount of chained combos you get from killing zombies. This game is an upgraded version of the OMG-Z game that was released by Laughing Jackal as a PS mini back in 2011.

There are weapon upgrades, branching levels, rewards, and various zombie types to encounter. This game is the easiest - and safest - way to take out zombies.

PS Vita owners will be able to download OMG Zombies for free on the PlayStation Mobile section of PlayStation Store.

Owners of PlayStation-certified devices (see full list here) can obtain it through the PlayStation Mobile Store - [Register or Login to view links] for full instructions.

We hope you enjoyed our six weeks of free PlayStation...
