Video: Thunder Wolves: Napalm-Infused Action on PSN August 13th

38w ago - BitComposer Games PR Manager Daniel Krauss shared a video today showcasing the napalm-infused action of Thunder Wolves, which hits PSN on August 13th, 2013.

To quote: As kids in the '80s, we grew up with outrageous action heroes capable of toppling entire regimes without ever reloading - and as for how those bullets made everything explode... some questions just aren't worth asking.

At bitComposer Games and Most Wanted Entertainment, we wanted to combine the over-the-top destruction and old-school sensibilities with one of gaming's most underutilized vehicles; the helicopter.

Not everyone needs complicated storylines with brotastic melodrama, or epic amounts of padding to fill the hours. Sometimes, we simply have the urge to grab a controller and blow $#!& up from a chopper.

Maybe it seems weird to mention destruction as a 'feature' of gameplay, but in Thunder Wolves, out August 13th on PSN, we have buildings crumbling into searing clouds, tanks exploding on impact, foot-soldiers being utterly vaporized, and... you get the idea. In short, Thunder Wolves is a little adrenaline-surge rolled up with the perfect after-work stress relief.

Max and Blister are...

Video: Cloudberry Kingdom Lands on PlayStation Network Today

38w ago - Pwnee Studios President and Co-Founder Jordan Fisher announced alongside a video trailer that Cloudberry Kingdom lands on PlayStation Network today.

To quote: Take a second and watch the below video. I never watch videos in blog posts - it takes too long and I've been spoiled by GIFs. But seriously, just watch it. None of this post will make sense otherwise.

I needed you to see that before I continued. You see, we've made the hardest, most stupidly ridiculous hardcore game ever. And we're sorry. Kind of.

We even called it a happy name like Cloudberry Kingdom to help ease the pain. But before I actually try apologizing for real, let me take a step back and defend myself.

I'll be making use of the traditional Socratic Straw Man Method for my defense: below, you'll find your unsound critiques highlighted in bold, with my impenetrable defense following. Afterward I may apologize.

Let's start with the first reason for why you're upset. "Being hard for the sake of being hard is stupid, therefore this game is stupid."

Woah. First of all, I Wanna Be The Guy has already proven in my mind that everyone wants a brutally unfair game with invisible spikes and hidden platforms that change location...

Video: Ms Germinator Defeats Disease on PlayStation Network Soon

38w ago - Creat Studios Technical Director Jason Benham posted up a video today announcing that Ms Germinator will be defeating disease on PlayStation Network soon!

To quote: When game sequels start with "Ms.," you should generally expect a similar - but better - game than the original. And that's absolutely the case with Ms. Germinator. She'll be arriving on PS3 and PS Vita very soon, with more power-ups, more modes, and, well, more style than her gruff counterpart.

And, we should mention, this is our first cross-buy title. That's more Ms. Germinator for your money!

Ms. Germinator takes antibacterial exploits to new extremes. You will inflate and pop vast colonies of colorful germs growing on your stuff, while skillfully using the new power-germs to devastating effect.

Here, the level shapes synchronize closely with the lush, cartoony backdrops - disinfect your dog's bowl, up close and personal.

There are literally hundreds of challenging levels in Campaign, Puzzle, Arcade, and Duel multiplayer all in need of disinfection. Have you got what it takes to 3-star them all?

Frozen and contagious germs will muddy the waters, while teleporters (yes, they've finally been invented) and circular reflectors will make your brain hurt.

Heck, we even threw...

Video: Do Not Fall Out PSN Arrives on PlayStation Network Tomorrow

39w ago - Lead Creative Farl Lee at XPEC Entertainment Inc made available a video today spotlighting Do Not Fall Out PSN, which arrives to fans on PlayStation Network tomorrow.

Below are the details, to quote: Have you ever thought: "What if the floor disappeared after you stepped on it?" Perhaps you have seen this idea in a game before. What if whole levels were built around that? That's the starting point for our new game, Do Not Fall.

Starting a title from scratch, creating a gameplay mechanic, story, art direction and a brand new IP was definitely not an easy task. Actually, it was challenging, but exciting at the same time.

Originally, we wanted to create a game that allows four players to play together. A disappearing floor is a common gameplay design in action platform games, but what would it be like with four people playing together at the same time? We could already imagine the fun and laughter when picturing friends trying to push each other off the floor or set each other up while looking out for themselves.

Besides this core idea, we thought about adding different objectives in the game, which later on became different multiplayer modes. In soccer mode, for example, players compete to kick...
