126w ago - Today VP of Products Michelle Chen has announced that the Crunchyroll application is now out on PS3, which brings Anime & Asian Drama to your TV set.

Below are the details, to quote: Hi, anime and Asian drama fans out there. Today, we launched the [Register or Login to view links] app on PlayStation 3!

The app allows Crunchyroll premium members to watch our entire catalog of anime and Asian drama, while free members can stream a sizeable collection of our content.

You can learn more about our membership plans and pricing [Register or Login to view links], and you'll be able to sign up for a free 30-day trial on your PS3.

Crunchyroll has hundreds of Japanese anime titles across a myriad of genres. The app includes access to our simulcast titles, usually available a few hours after the first broadcast in Japan. My personal favorite is Gosick, a series full of mystery, history, and romance. It's true - anime is not just for guys.

We hope you enjoy watching anime and Asian drama on Crunchyroll!

144w ago - Sony Director of Marketing Brandon Stander has announced today that MLB TV is ready for opening day 2012 on PlayStation Network!

To quote: Seems like we were just watching David Freese and the St. Louis Cardinals make a dramatic comeback to beat the Texas Rangers in 7 games to win the 2011 World Series.

And now, here we are, standing in the on-deck circle of the 2012 season waiting to see who will step up and lead their teams into the playoffs and become this year's World Series hero.

And, just in time for the opening series games between the Athletics and Mariners in Tokyo, all the Major League Baseball action can once again be watched with the new [Register or Login to view links] application for the PS3, now available on PSN.

Just like last season, the MLB.TV app gives you access to high-quality HD, live and archived games, home and away broadcasts, as well as an array of interactive features designed to take advantage of the PS3 system's technical prowess. If you're a MLB.TV Premium subscriber, you can access all available Spring Training games.

You can view a walk through of the application highlights here and read more about what you'll see with this year's MLB.TV service below:

151w ago - Sony Community Manager MusterBuster is here with the official unveil of PlayStation Access TV Episode 19 preview video below.

To quote: There's nothing like a bit of Nathan Drake to get you pumped and ready for the weekend, eh? Good thing Access TV Episode 19 features PlayStation Vita flagship title Uncharted: Golden Abyss as Game of the Week then.

Prepare to stuff your eyeballs full of ace new gameplay footage, plus get a first-hand glimpse at Vita's incredible touch-screen controls in action. Handheld gamers have never had it so good.

Keeping with the Uncharted theme, the Access crew head to [Register or Login to view links] HQ in Santa Monica for a tour of the developers' motion capture stage. There are interviews with Creative Director Amy Hennig, plus the team chat with Nolan North about the filming for Golden Abyss.

T3 magazine's Rhi Morgan also drops in to give her opinion on the Vita from a tech perspective, plus there's your usual juicy roundup of PS3′s tastiest news morsels, which this week include a look at [Register or Login to view links] and some clever men who've made a real-life WipEout track. 152w ago - Sony Community Manager MusterBuster has unveiled a preview video today for PlayStation Access Episode 18 below.

To quote: If you could reach out and touch this week's episode of Access TV it would feel small, sleek and curiously curvy.

That's right, episode 18 of Access is on YouTube now, and it's decidedly PlayStation Vita-shaped, with our headline spot devoted to showing off the tricks, tech and awesome launch titles of the glorious new handheld.

Check out the likes of Uncharted: Golden Abyss, Little Deviants and [Register or Login to view links] right now.

And it doesn't end there. We've also got a report from the first PS Vita Rooms event in Manchester, where gamer crowds joined a packed line-up of celebs and performers in checking out the machine (and if you like what you see, make a date in your diary for the last PS Vita Rooms in London next month).

It's hard to top Manchester for glamour locations, but the team managed it this week with a visit to Rome, where we caught up with [Register or Login to view links] honcho and comic book star Joe Madureira about his work on Darksiders II.

157w ago - Today Sony Community Manager MusterBuster has unveiled PlayStation Access TV Episode 14, which can be seen via [Register or Login to view links] and also embedded below.

To quote: With only two days until Santa drops gaming goodies down your chimney, what better way to relax, rewind and review the year gone by with a special festive edition of Access TV?

Episode 14 is on YouTube right now, and reveals the winner (and four runners up) of the Access Game of the Year - as voted for by you.

There's also highlights from 2011′s Access Live tour, including footage from events at Manchester, Birmingham and London, plus that very special Uncharted treasure hunt in the deserts of Jordan.

In fact this episode is bursting with so much Christmas, it's got a mountain's worth of snow in it - which extreme sports lunatic Travis Rice proceeds to jump off with nothing more than a plastic board between him and certain death. Be sure to check out the footage from the SSX star's film 'The Art of Flight' for no other reason than it will blow your mind.

Still not festive enough for you? How about a roundup of all the best Christmas deals on the PlayStation Store,...
