To quote: What better way to prepare for the start of the holiday shopping season than with the PlayStation Store's annual Fall Sale? Starting tomorrow, you can feed your hunger for great games with discounts on exciting PS3 titles such as Limbo and Gatling Gears.

For one week only, you can catch up on some of the great titles you may have missed during the past year at a 30% discount. PlayStation Plus subscribers will get a special 50% off the regular price.

There's never been a better time to login to PlayStation Network and download Limbo, a game PlayStation: The Official Magazine is calling "one of the most impressive titles that PSN has to offer...an experience that no gamer should pass up."

135w ago - Sony VP of Product Marketing Scott Steinberg has detailed PlayStation Move's Fall lineup today, which includes InFamous 2 and InFamous: Festival of Blood among the game titles.

To quote: This fall, PlayStation Move is set to deliver a new batch of compelling experiences that get you on your feet and put you directly in the game.

As we mentioned to you previously, the number of PlayStation Move games released or in development have surpassed 80 titles and continues to grow. When coupled with 3D, PlayStation Move continues to set new benchmarks in immersive gameplay experiences.

Already you've seen AAA titles such as Resistance 3 incorporate PlayStation Move compatibility and you can expect more to come soon, including downloadable expansion packs for LittleBigPlanet 2 and inFAMOUS 2.

Today, LittleBigPlanet 2 Move Pack: Rise of the Cakeling kicks things off with five giant story levels and seven side levels, making it LittleBigPlanet's biggest Downloadable Content Pack to date. Coming in Fall 2011, this new core experience for PlayStation Home features a "hub and districts" design that will help you find games, people and places that fit your favorite game genres. 151w ago - SCEA Producer Emerson Escobar has announced today that inviZimals: Shadow Zone is coming to PSP this Fall.

To quote: Emerson here with some great news for all you inviZimals fans out there. inviZimals: Shadow Zone is coming to North America!

The story picks up several months after the events of the first inviZimals game and features new, deeper and more involved captures with over 100 new inviZimals to hunt and battle with. You can also team up with a friend for co-op captures using AdHoc or Infrastructure connectivity.

You can even modify and share your inviZimals by changing their names, colors and choose from a greater range of attack moves. The game will also feature a full blown rank and prestige system as well as you being able to travel to new exotic locations as you investigate how inviZimals shaped ancient mythology.

So get ready to team up with Keni, Jazmin and Dawson on another whirlwind adventure across the globe to solve the great mysteries of inviZimals: Shadow Zone.
 

New XBox 360 Protection in Leaked 12606 & Fall 2010 Dashboard

181w ago - According to several people on X-S (linked above), new XBox 360 protection appears to have been implemented in the leaked 12606 and Fall 2010 Dashboard.

The new security against piracy and video game backups is reported in Kinect and the Beta XBox 360 Firmware along with Fable 3 thus far.

I have condensed the information to avoid being too technical, and some of the information has been taken from other people's posts from some high rated members, some not.

• In a new XBox 360 Beta firmware that leaked to the Internet, Microsoft has appears to have added new checks to see if a disc is legit inside the disc drive.

• One of the games that has been found to be giving problems is the release of Fable III. Right now it's unclear which games, DVD models and/or modified FWs are exactly affected.

• The software appears to run some checks on the disc in a way not thought before, with responses that can cause your console to be perma-banned, due to failing "Failed AP25 Challenge", OFFLINE!
