108w ago - SuperBot Entertainment President Chan Park has offically announced that PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale Public Beta is coming this Fall!

Below are the details, to quote: Hey everyone! Last week, SuperBot Entertainment and PlayStation invited a small group of players to get a hands-on preview of PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale as part of our early development beta.

We're beginning to test our servers and connectivity issues and this is just the beginning as we work toward rolling out a public beta to the entire PlayStation nation this Fall.

As part of this exclusive access, players were able to take control of characters such as Kratos, Sweet Tooth, PaRappa the Rapper, Colonel Radec, Sly Cooper, and Fat Princess and battle in environments such as Dreamscape, Metropolis, Sandover Village, and Hades.

The feedback we're receiving from beta testers has been highly encouraging and valuable, helping us craft the best online multiplayer fighting experience possible.

In addition, there was an unexpected and unintended leak in our beta that allowed fans to be able to see some additional content.

We've enjoyed reading all of the fan reaction and are thrilled that so many of you are excited to learn more about our character roster and level mash-ups,...

Video: Metroplex PS3 Trailer for Transformers: Fall of Cybertron

112w ago - Today Senior Creative Director Dave Cravens at High Moon Studios has unveiled an exclusive new Metroplex PS3 trailer video for Transformers: Fall of Cybertron below.

To quote: Last time we were here, Tieg (a.k.a. Matt Tieger, Game Director) talked about the epic scale of [Register or Login to view links], embodied in our riveting story, variety of gameplay, monster bots, and the walking city known as Metroplex.

In this exclusive new trailer, you'll get to see Metroplex in action!

This is a treat for me personally, as I was a big Metroplex fan growing up. I recently visited my parents and even found my original Metroplex toy, which sadly looked like it had endured too many (mostly) imaginary battles, Minnesota winters and stress tests with fireworks.

Luckily, in Fall of Cybertron, the yellowing of aging plastic never comes into play. Instead, I get to control Metroplex through Optimus Prime, and make him do all the crazy stuff I used to imagine - like blowing away entire squadrons of Decepticons with an endless stream of rockets!

Toppling skyscrapers onto unsuspecting enemies (my sister's dolls)! Stomping on tanks and bad guys!

Let's...

Video: Okami HD Hits PS3 with PlayStation Move Support This Fall

400°
115w ago - Capcom Marketing Manager Tristan Corbett has announced today that Okami HD is coming exclusively to PS3 complete with PlayStation Move support this Fall.

Below is a video of it in action, and to quote: I'm pleased to confirm that this fall, gamers will be able to return to the land of Nippon in Okami HD, exclusively on the PS3 with PlayStation Move support.

Initially released to critical acclaim on the PS2, Okami HD has the player take on the role of Amaterasu, the Japanese sun goddess, who inhabits the form of a wolf.

After a tyrannical monster, Orochi, turns the world into a ruined, colorless wasteland, Amaterasu must use her magical abilities to restore the land to its previous glory and defeat the demon in charge of the destruction.

Okami HD brings Amaterasu's epic tale to the PS3 with fully integrated HD graphics and widescreen 16:9 aspect ratio. I did not think it was possible to make the game look even better, but when I saw it for myself, I was a believer.

The trademark sumi-e ink art style lends itself perfectly to HD, allowing players to experience more of the awe-inspiring world displayed in more detail than ever before. Check out the trailer above to see what I'm talking...

117w ago - High Moon Studios Game Director Matt Tieger has posted up a new Transformers: Fall of Cybertron PS3 video today direct from E3 2012 below!

To quote: I'm excited to share our latest trailer for Transformers: Fall of Cybertron with you, fresh from E3 2012. And I'm here to take your questions: Optimus Prime, Shockwave, Bruticus, Grimlock, and now Metroplex...we have a ton to talk about!

You may know [Register or Login to view links] from our work on [Register or Login to view links] back in 2010.

With War for Cybertron we had to work hard to prove that Transformers games could be good; with Fall of Cybertron we've set out to show how they can be great. Big words indeed. How we back that up is with the scale and variety of the game we've built in Fall of Cybertron. Transformers needs to have a wide variety of unique characters and a rich assortment of big environments to use their transforming gameplay.

We've assembled a big cast of playable characters, each one bringing very unique skills to the battle. Transforming, tight shooting controls, melee, flying, combining, stealth, grappling - we have all these gameplay elements and they all feel right for the Transformers....
