76w ago - Following up on their previous updates, this weekend Sony PlayStation 3 hackers Cyberskunk and evilsperm have released a Toggle QA PS3 PKG for Rebug Custom Firmware users.

To quote: THIS SOFTWARE WRITES TO THE PS3 EEPROM - USE AT YOUR OWN RISK

After having to QA a few PS3 in a row. Then installing a different firmware straight after, it was time to cut out the middleman.

Toggle QA will SET/RESET the QA Flag and Token on any 3.41 or 3.55 firmware that has lv1 mmap and lv2 peek and poke patches (which is most of them).

When you run the app it first detects if the PS3 is 3.41 or 3.55. Next it will check if your firmware has any of the required lv1 patches already and only patch the hypervisor with the ones you need. After it finishes patching Toggle QA will check the status of the QA Flag and SET/RESET it accordingly. Then once the QA SET/RESET is done any lv1 patches made will be removed.

HOW TO USE:

1: Install toggle_qa.pkg
2: Run Toggle QA from XMB
3: PS3 will beep and return to XMB. (If you do not hear a beep it has not worked)

78w ago - Last week JFW DH MA-1 3.56 PS3 CFW was released, and today Spanish PlayStation 3 developer DemonHades has made available IrisManager for PS3 JFW DH 3.56 Custom Firmware.

To quote, roughly translated: Here I leave the first version of IrisMAnager356, first before anything I want to thank D_Skylwalk, xulofuenla and dreamsder for the collaboration of the not yet finished version.

When it comes to the screen loaded crashes payload, but that is unimportant, only would fail to adapt the payload manager (that D_Skywalk) could do it without many problems here and upload the source generated PKG Source download and testing PKG.

1saludo and appreciate any help... and at this rate I can say that would be easier to carry all dongles, for to those applicable to the 3.41 3.56 MA.

Note: For those not on 3.56 already it is advised not to update to 3.56 CFW yet, as you will not be able to downgrade and IrisManager is barely working on it at...

Note: The game will work with the EUR version by renaming the "uk" folder in "PS3_GAME/USRDIR/uk" to "us" but some images and text are missing though. A European version fix is available HERE...
