63w ago - Sony PlayStation Store and Plus Content Manager Chris Howe is here with the PS Plus content updates for November, 2013 below.

To quote: Hi everyone! It's that time again where I have the pleasure of announcing the upcoming goodies coming your way courtesy of PlayStation Plus. We have a couple of huge PS3 games this month as well as two PS Vita classics to keep you entertained as the nights start to draw in!

New PlayStation 3 games:

First up this November we have Konami's masterpiece Metal Solid Rising: Revengeance. Set four years the events of Metal Gear Rising 4: Guns of the Patriots, you must take up the role of Raiden, a cyborg who confronts the private military company Desperado Enforcement.

Developed by the crack team at Platinum Games, this is one of the wildest, most entertaining pure action titles of this console generation.

Next, we've teamed up with our friends at Capcom for a title I'm personally very excited about: Remember Me.

The setting is Neo-Paris, 2084. Personal memories are now digitised, bought, sold and traded. You take on the role of Nilin, a former elite memory hunter with the ability to break into people's minds and steal or even alter...

Injustice: Gods Among Us Hits PlayStation Vita on November 12, 2013

63w ago - Armature Studio Technical Director and Co-Founder Jack Mathews confirmed today that Injustice: Gods Among Us hits PlayStation Vita on November 12, 2013.

To quote: Armature Studio is proud to announce our next game for PS Vita, Injustice: Gods Among Us Ultimate Edition, is hitting stores on November 12th.

When developing Injustice on Vita, our primary goal was to make sure it could hold its own next to its console counterpart.

The PS3 version has beautiful lighting, destructible environments, and - most importantly - 60 FPS fighting. We worked tirelessly to bring this experience to the handheld, and pulled out all the stops to push the PS Vita as hard as we could to make all of the above happen.

In addition to all of this, we've included ad-hoc multiplayer, traditional multiplayer over wifi, and touch controls to Story Mode and various S.T.A.R. Labs Missions.

Also, since this is the Ultimate Edition, the game will include all downloadable content that was released for the console edition.

Our friends at NetherRealm Studios made such a wonderful game in Injustice: Gods Among Us. We're just happy to be able to use our experience on prior PS Vita projects to take what they did and spare no expense in creating a version of the game that allows people...

Video: Ratchet & Clank: Into the Nexus Hits PS3 November 12th, 2013

64w ago - Insomniac Games Community Lead James Stevenson announced today alongside a video that Ratchet & Clank: Into the Nexus will be hitting PS3 on November 12th, 2013.

To quote: Everyone here at Insomniac has been working really hard to bring you Ratchet and Clank's latest adventure, Into the Nexus, and we're happy to announce that it will be available in stores and online on November 12th, 2013!

An epilogue to the Future games (Tools of Destruction, Quest For Booty, A Crack in Time), Ratchet & Clank: Into the Nexus is packed with an all-new story, an all-new arsenal, and all-new gadgets - and it's only $29.99.

Some of you have asked us why we made a shorter Ratchet game. The truth is, we relished this ability to tie a bow on the PS3 era of Ratchet with a shorter title. All of us love the Ratchet universe - and after 12 years developing the series, it feels like a very close friend.

We have a lot of stories to tell, some longer, some shorter. This one felt just right. It's a very polished self-contained return to the Ratchet adventures of yore. It's impactful, too; filled with planet-hopping, guns blazing, joke-cracking Ratchet & Clank, and events happen here that will change Ratchet forever. Think of it as a small epic.

Another question we get asked a lot is how...

64w ago - NIS America Marketing Coordinator David Alonzo shared a video today announcing The Guided Fate Paradox hits PS3 on November 5th, 2013.

Below are the details, to quote: Hey, doods! It's time again for your humble Prinny David from NIS America to talk about our next game, The Guided Fate Paradox, which is set to launch on November 5th exclusively on PS3.

Let me tell you guys, this one's a doozy. Shall we ascend and take an angel's eye view of this title?

In The Guided Fate Paradox, you play as the exceptionally ordinary high school student, Renya Kagurazaka, who one day wins a shopping mall lottery hosted by a cute girl. Your prize? You become God! And that cute girl's actually an angel named Lilliel tasked with helping you out.

Now your job as God is to guide people's fates by entering the Fate Revolution Circuit, a nifty doodad that creates a Copy World of reality.

It's in this Copy World where you'll do battle against aberrations - the physical manifestations of the things preventing people from becoming what they want - and help people achieve their potential. But you'll soon discover that there may be darker forces beyond just these aberrations that are trying to keep you from guiding these fates...

The game is a story-based roguelike that plays...

70w ago - Following previous rumors and their Gamescom 2013 Press Conference, Sony has officially confirmed that the PS4 / PlayStation 4 release date will be on November 15, 2013 in North America (US and Canada), on November 29, 2013 in Europe and on February 22, 2014 in Japan.

Right from the start of the conference, aspects of the new console's menu system was on display, showing a modified Cross-Media Bar that seemed to focus more on games in related content than multiple static menus and the new controller based keyboard that uses a free-moving crosshair than the current setup.

Additionally, President and Group CEO of Sony Computer Entertainment Andrew House confirmed that gamers who have already bought the PS3 version of specific games such as Call of Duty, Battlefield, and Watch Dogs will be able to purchase the PS4 version for a severely discounted price. Sony did this to "reward gamers for their loyalty" and to ensure the system is as "simple and accessible as possible."

The PlayStation 4 will launch in a total of 32 territories around the world by the end of...
