72w ago - Just Add Water CEO Stewart Gilray has shared a video below today of Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath HD which is available now on PSN.
To quote: In case you missed it over the long holiday break, we released Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath HD on PSN on December 27th! Additionally, I wanted to thank PlayStation players for their endless support over the past year or so since we announced it. We hope you enjoy it!
If you haven't played Stranger's Wrath yet, the launch trailer does a good job showing off the game's key features: 60 frames-per-second action in both first-person and third-person perspectives, all set within the unique universe of Oddworld. For those that don't know what Stranger's Wrath HD is all about, let me tell you a story...
Tall, dark, and passive-aggressive, a Stranger is lured out of routine bounty hunting by the prospect of a one time, bounty-to-end-all bounties moolah maker. He's got a short but pricey personal shopping list and he's finally found a way to check it off.
With moolah on his mind, our Stranger travels from town to town facing off with mentally challenged Outlaws, violently ignorant Clakkerz, and paranoid, relic-hiding native Grubbs.
76w ago - Just Add Water CEO Stewart Gilray has announced today that Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath HD is coming to PSN on December 27, 2011 and a week earlier on the 21st in Europe.
To quote: We've been working on Stranger's Wrath, one way or another for around 15 months now. From the initial discussions, to actually starting work on the project true, to then getting it done!
As most of you may know we originally planned to release the game around Easter, to be able to do that we were to have started full development in September last year, but as it transpired, we didn't actually start until April 2011, which gave us our hoped late Summer release; but we ended up spending another couple of months on it, so here we are DONE AND DUSTED for release.
As such I'm extremely pleased to announce that Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath HD will release on December 27th in North America for $14.99. And we will be releasing worldwide! (all stores, except for the Far East/Russia/Ukraine and Portugal at this time).
We had planned on shipping with support for stereoscopic 3D and PlayStation Move and a few other little things, due to time limits we are not able to bring those features in this initial version. However we WILL be bringing them in an update in a couple...
78w ago - Naughty Dog Co-President Evan Wells has posted up a video today showcasing the Jak and Daxter Collection on PS3 with HD, 3D and PlayStation 3 Trophies.
To quote: We've been getting many, many requests asking about Jak and Daxter coming to PS3, and I'm happy to announce that the series will make its PS3 debut this February with the launch of the Jak and Daxter Collection.
The Jak and Daxter Collection features three of our favorite Jak and Daxter titles - Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy, Jak II, and Jak 3 - all remastered by Mass Media, working closely with our team at Naughty Dog.
With the launch of Jak and Daxter Collection, you'll be able to experience the adventures of Jak and his Daxter in 720p high definition with crisper visuals, smoother gameplay animation, and in full stereoscopic 3D. And, I'm sure all of you hardcore collectors will be happy to hear that each game in the trilogy features full PS3 trophy support.
The Jak and Daxter franchise set a benchmark for the platformer genre with its huge environments and gaming freedom. In fact, it holds seven world records in the Guinness...
84w ago - Following up on their previous PSN decrypted game releases alongside the PS3 NPDRM Self algorithm details, today PlayStation 3 scene release group DUPLEX have made available a Ricochet HD PSN Repack for PS3 Custom Firmware users weighing in at 338 MB in size.
Download links are below, and from their Ricochet HD Repack PSN PS3 DUPLEX PS3 NFO file to quote:
Release Info: The crowded brick-breaking scene on PSN has a new addition.
Notes: Seems our previous pack was not fully working. Here is a repack with a proper crack and new decrypted .elf.
Btw, the recently leaked SDK's have not helped on decrypting and there were no 'hidden keys' of any sort in those SDK's. We challenged NPDRM in June already (Duke Nukem 3.41 Patch).
1.) copy files to FAT32 USB Key/USB Disk
2.) install game *DUPLEX.*.Install.pkg
3.) install patch *DUPLEX.*.Patch.vX.XX.pkg if any
4.) install crack *DUPLEX.*.Crack.pkg
