142w ago - Zipper Interactive Community Specialist Chris Roper has posted up a video today showcasing how fans can get their groove on in SOCOM 4 for the PlayStation 3 entertainment system.
To quote: The SOCOM franchise is no stranger to intense online competition, the sort of frantic rivalries that bring out plenty of gloating for the victors.
Fans know that the series has catered to these sorts of moments with built-in victory dances, and the soldiers of SOCOM 4: U.S. Navy SEALs sure do know their way around the dance floor.
Available in online competitive matches, SOCOM 4′s victory dances are triggered by pressing the Circle button while standing over a fallen enemy. There are more than a dozen dances in the game, including:
The Chicken Sure to be a hit with fans of Arrested Development, your soldier makes chicken wings with his arms and waves them up and down, bobs his head forward and backward and digs at the dirt with his foot.
The Robot Essentially an over-exaggerated version of what it looks like every time C3PO talks.
The Crane Exactly like Daniel-san's finishing move from The Karate Kid, the soldier raises both hands into the air, lefts one knee up slowly and then...
158w ago - Today Virtual Air Guitar Company CEO Teemu Maki-Patola has announced news of an official launch date for Kung-Fu LIVE alongside a new PS3 video trailer.
To quote: After months of demo events across the world from gamescom in Germany to PAX Prime in Seattle, combined with THOUSANDS of cumulative man-hours for our small independent team in Finland, burning the midnight oil and sweating like crazy play-testing our game, we're FINALLY ready to break the news right back here where we started.
What better way to do that than with an all-new trailer? Have a peek at the clip below to see what people have being saying all year, and get the leg up on exactly when you too can literally step into the world of Kung-Fu LIVE and lay the smack down in your living room!
That's right! If you're in Europe, then you can download your way into the action on 8th December. We know it's been a long time coming, and we've always wanted to get this game to you before the last of the leaves hit the ground in 2010.
So, as soon as it's officially too cold to practice your kung-fu moves outside, you'll get an indoor option that will also transport you to a far off land of street thugs, ninja assassins, and four story-tall giants looking to...
162w ago - Electronic Arts Community Coordinator Eduardo Vasconcellos has announced today that Medal of Honor for PS3 is getting what's being dubbed Hot Zone.
To quote: It's been a few weeks since Medal of Honor launched, and thanks to our fantastic PlayStation fans, things have been a great success.
Now that you've had time to get used to the game's multiplayer offering on the PlayStation Network, I think it's time we let you in on a little secret: there's more. While you may already know that Clean Sweep is coming on November 2 (free for everyone who activated their Medal of Honor Online Pass), what we didn't tell you is that a whole new mode dubbed Hot Zone is coming to the PSN on the same day.
Coming to the PlayStation Network for $9.99, Hot Zone is a king of the hill-type mode where two teams tussle over a single objective within a map. As long as you hold the Hot Zone, you gain points which go to your final score.
Unlike other game modes, maintaining control on the Hot Zone is the only way to earn points, so while laying down suppressing fire and taking out enemies coming your way is certainly a good thing, these kills won't earn you any extra points.
The pacing and overall feel of the new mode is different as all players will be surrounding a single...
