For me, Castlevania was always about lone warrior battling supernatural creatures with a whip. This was the core idea that when you strip away all the layers, is what remains true for the series even now. Of course, back then, games were far simpler and story lines, characters, and the rest were often secondary to the all-important gameplay.

Over the years, games have become more sophisticated and players have wanted deeper experiences and more far-reaching gameplay mechanics. Expectations for memorable characters and realistic environments often mean it's much more difficult to find the core of a game and truly understand where something is coming from.

That's why we we've created The MOH Experience, a series of uncut and unedited single-player and multiplayer videos put together to show our audience what they can expect when Medal of Honor launches on October 12th.

In this third installment, titled "High Value Target," we're giving you a look at Medal of Honor's multiplayer.

The mode being played in the video is called Combat Mission. Coalition forces are tasked with clearing five consecutive objectives to win and the insurgents must stop them at any cost.





As objectives are cleared, new areas of the map open up to reveal what the coalition must do next. The team health meter represents coalition reinforcements. If it's depleted before the current objective is cleared, the match ends and coalition forces are stopped.

143w ago - Today Community Developer Sorin Muresan of Ubisoft Romania has announced alongside a trailer video that Tom Clancys H.A.W.X. 2 will be hitting the PS3 entertainment system in roughly two weeks.

To quote: The video game I've been working on and enjoying lately is H.A.W.X. 2, an aerial combat game that put me through a rollercoaster ride with fireworks going off all around.

From the first cinematic, I got a glimpse of the Tom Clancy storyline: I was in the middle of a world conspiracy with terrorists threatening to use stolen nukes against whoever doesn't meet their demands. So I got comfortable in my chair and ready to dispense some justice and peace with my trigger finger.

The first mission started me off easy, with a take-off from an airbase to inspect the area around. Piece of cake! Full throttle, pitch up and the sky was the limit!





But I would later find out that landing is not a piece of said cake, especially when attempting it at night on an aircraft carrier, even with the onboard computer helping me a little. And it seared a mental note into my brain: always make sure to lower the landing gear before attempting to touch down....

Depending on how hard you swing the club, you expect the ball to go a certain distance, so we took that concept and built around it so the physics of the ball and the force driving the ball are accurate. 146w ago - Today Crystal Dynamics has revealed to IGN that Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light is getting a staggered multiplayer rollout.

The video game is heading to Xbox Live on August 18th, however, Guardian of Light will not feature online multiplayer until Sony's PS3 and PC users join the party.

To quote: "Although the full single-player campaign and local co-op will be available, online multiplayer will arrive in a free update on September 28th - the same day the full game and online multiplayer will be available on the PlayStation Network and Steam.

From October to December, there will be five additional downloadable packs that will be made available.

Although the specific content of these packs is still unclear, we do know that the first three will be standard expansions that feature new puzzles, exploration sequences and combat scenes. The following two downloadable packs will introduce new characters into the mix."
