Video: Konami Announces Pro Evolution Soccer (PES) 2011

218w ago - Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. has announced that it will deliver a completely new soccer experience later this year with the advent of Pro Evolution Soccer (PES) 2011, scheduled for release on the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, PlayStation 3 computer entertainment system, PlayStation 2 computer entertainment system, PSP (PlayStation Portable) system, Wii and Windows PC this fall.

The publisher's long-running Pro Evolution Soccer series will undergo the most radical revamp in its history.

Press Release: The PRO EVOLUTION SOCCER franchise has long been regarded as offering incredible realism and control, however PRO EVOLUTION SOCCER 2011 will reinvigorate the series with the most advanced set of improved gameplay additions, control options and to catch up with the evolution of the real-life football.

Central to its total freedom of play, PRO EVOLUTION SOCCER 2011 introduces a power bar for each player that allows the user to determine the exact strength and placement of every pass and shot.

Balls can now be spread absolutely anywhere with surgical precision, with long balls into space, short passes to feet and intricate one-twos allowing the player to dictate play and control the tempo of a match.

Sony Announces ModNation Racers PSP Demo Arrives May 11th

218w ago - Sony's San Diego Studio Producer Vernon Mollette has announced today that the long-awaited ModNation Racers PSP demo arrives on May 11, 2010.

To quote: I'm back again to give you a quick rundown of our ModNation Racers PSP Demo, which will be available on May 11th to everyone through the PSP Store on the PlayStation Network!

We were so stoked about all the cool things everyone has been saying about the game that we decided to put this demo out for everyone to get a little hands-on experience before hitting the track on May 25th, when the full game will be available. In this demo we included a couple of our favorite tracks, some familiar Mods and their karts, and of course, a sneak peek of our amazing Track Studio.

To start you off we dropped in eight Elite and Pre-made Mods and their karts to light up a couple of new tracks, including Lost Temple and Flaming Jumps. Both tracks provide all the opportunities you need for Big Air, Long Smooth Drifts, and lots of weapons to keep the action hot!

Again, with all of your comments about our Track Studio, we had to give you a little taste of creative freedom in our Alpine theme.

Sony Announces ModNation PSP Demo is Coming to April's Qore

220w ago - PlayStation Network Executive Producer Kevin Furuichi has announced today that the ModNation PSP demo is coming to April's Qore edition.

To quote: We hope you enjoyed the April episode of Qore, featuring in-depth coverage of God of War III, Split/Second and 3D Dot Game Heroes.

If you are a Qore annual subscriber or purchaser of the April episode, we want to let you know about a late addition to Episode 23's Download Center: ModNation Racers PSP Demo.

Qore subscribers were invited to the PS3 game Beta last year, and starting on April 22, you'll also get a chance to play the upcoming PSP demo version.

Visit the Download Center in the April episode of Qore after this week's PlayStation Store Update for early access to the ModNation Racers PSP demo, which lets you test drive two full tracks from the game and give the track creator a spin.

And, look for more exclusive downloads in next month's May episode of Qore, featuring Prince of Persia: Forgotten Sands, UFC Undisputed 2010 with Jens Pulver, and an insider's look at upcoming additions to PlayStation Home.
