Video: Foosball 2012 Drops on PlayStation Network Today

50°
122w ago - Grip Games CEO Jakub Mikyska has announced that Foosball 2012 drops on PlayStation Network today and has shared the official launch trailer below.

To quote: Jakub from Grip Games here! Today is a great day for our small indie studio - Foosball 2012 is out today on PSN! I'm stopping by today to answer a few questions about the game.

Foosball 2012 is another entry in the line of not-so-typical-for-a-console-game sports, like darts, bowling, pool, or golf that we have seen recently on the PlayStation Store. If you weren't sure which platform to get the game on, we think you'll appreciate that when you buy the game for PS3, you'll get the PS Vita version for free and the other way around!

A lot of people ask us "Why foosball?" and we keep telling them "Why not?" Other games that wouldn't seem to be well-suited to a console experience managed to capture the essence of those games, and we hope to do the same with Foosball 2012.

It is not just about playing foosball, it's about playing a quick, skill-based game, that is easy to handle, but difficult to master. A game with a great multiplayer component and entertaining single-player mode, lots of customizations and Leaderboards to keep track of where you and your friends are standing against the global competition.

Video: Solve a Quantum Conundrum Today on PlayStation Network

124w ago - Airtight Games Creative Director Kim Swift has posted up a video trailer inviting fans to solve a Quantum Conundrum today on PlayStation Network.

To quote: The time has finally come for Quantum Conundrum to be released on this, the most superb of days. The team and I are extremely excited for the game's launch and we worked rather hard to bring our handiwork to the PSN catalog.

In case you have no idea what I'm excitedly prattling about, here's the low down. So, Quantum Conundrum is an environmental puzzle game where you have the ability to change dimensions on the fly between alternate universes existing in the same space.

Gotta move the couch so you can vacuum under it? Just switch to Fluffy Dimension and that heavy couch will become an oh-so-cute pink ultra-cushy version of itself.

In addition to being adorable, that couch and the whole world around you, in fact, will become ten times lighter. So you can easily pick up that couch and finish your chores with skill and alacrity--and then take a nap. Everything just looks so comfortable...

In Quantum Conundrum, you play as a kid dropped on his Uncle's doorstep by his parents for the weekend. As it so happens, your Uncle is actually a brilliant scientist and inventor, Professor Fitz Quadwrangle.

To quote: For a small developer like SideQuest Studios, it's really a special event when one of our games finally hits the store following almost two years of development.

We have already received amazing feedback from players in Europe, where Rainbow Moon was released a few days earlier, and we are very excited to finally bring the game to the North American PlayStation Store.

As a goodie and to further spark your interest, I have brand new stuff to show you today, including a new launch trailer and another episode of our development diary video series. I will also tell you more about Rainbow Moon's main characters.
