137w ago - Sony Director of Network Advertising David Winding has announced today that MotorStorm RC will be driving to PS Vita for FREE courtesy of Scion!

To quote: Back in November, we revealed that [Register or Login to view links] was working on a new title, MotorStorm RC, which would be released in the US as a downloadable game for both the PlayStation 3 and the PlayStation Vita.

The game received critical praise when it launched in the UK two weeks ago.

We think you'll agree that the wait was worth it, as we are pleased to not only announce that the PS3 version will be available beginning tomorrow separately for $9.99 ($7.49 for PlayStation Plus subscribers), but to also let you know that the PS Vita version of MotorStorm RC will also be available as a free download thanks to our partners at Scion.

That's right- for a limited time, the complete Vita MotorStorm RC game is available for download absolutely free - no additional purchases necessary!

Not only that, but you'll be able to drive a custom RC version of Scion's iQ which is exclusive to the PS Vita version of the game. And be sure to check out the plethora of downloadable content which will become available for purchase for both versions of the game tomorrow.

137w ago - Today Executive Producer Brandon Laurino has announced on the PS Blog that Dust 514 will be free to play on the PlayStation 3 entertainment system!

To quote: We have some big news about DUST 514 coming out this week and wanted to write a more personal note about it here, to you.

The development of DUST 514 has been an amazing experience, as we at [Register or Login to view links] pioneer new frontiers for console games in collaboration with Sony.

It has really been a process of exploring and breaking new ground - running an MMO service that needs constant updates on a console, microtransactions on a console, connecting an MMO on console to an MMO on PC in a real time shared universe and the Marketplace between the two - and there's even more to come.

Today, I'm writing about one more of those things - DUST 514 will be free to play on PlayStation 3!

This news means [Register or Login to view links] is the first ever game built from the ground up as a free to play MMOFPS on console, exclusively on the PlayStation 3.

Thanks to how Sony has set up the PlayStation Network - and the innovations they have been making on it together with us - Sony's console platform is the only one able to support this kind...

Atlus Announces Persona 4 Arena Brawls on PS3 This Summer

350°
137w ago - Atlus Manager of Public Relations and Sales Aram Jabbari has announced today that Persona 4 Arena will be brawling onto the PS3 entertainment system this summer.

To quote: Look, I'm just going to come out and say it: this summer, ATLUS is bringing Persona 4 Arena to a PlayStation 3 computer entertainment system near you (and if it's near you we're going to go ahead and assume you own it).

One of the most successful, highest-rated RPG franchises of the last few years is our very own Persona series. The two most recent games, Persona 3 and Persona 4, were hailed for their memorable casts of characters, plots that defied many established clich├ęs, and mechanics and visual designs that stood apart from their competitors.

Collaborating with fighting genre masters Arc System Works (the folks who made a little series called [Register or Login to view links]), ATLUS is taking the Persona universe, complete with its added "summon your inner power" wrinkle, and transforming it into one of the most unique, visually stunning fighting games you've ever laid your eyes on. Or whatever part of your body you lay on things.

Persona 4 was all about a world inside the TV; those who were thrown in were featured on the mysterious Midnight Channel, with only days to live.
