To quote: The PS3 uDraw tablet/accessory comes with a USB dongle which shows up as a standard HID device when plugged into a PC, so I threw together some documentation and a "driver"/application to allow using it on a Windows PC as a standard mouse.

Documentation (Where ambiguous, assume little endian.)

There are 0x08 bytes that can be sent on the device's OUT interrupt pipe -- I don't know what these are. There are 0x1B bytes constantly received on the device's IN interrupt pipe, described below:

135w ago - Today Jawad Ashraf of the PlayStation Store Team has posted up this weeks European SEN updates just in time for the upcoming PS Vita launch, as follows below:

Tomorrow, PlayStation Vita launches across the PAL regions and here is the full list of what will be available to download when PlayStation Store is live on the system later this evening.

We believe that the PS Vita launch line-up is the strongest in PlayStation history and this list of games and other content, some of which is completely free, is testament to that.

Don't forget that if you already own Hustle Kings, Top Darts or Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom DLC on PS3, you can also use it on your PS Vita at no extra charge.

Have a blast and look forward to the PS3 store update coming soon. See you (or the digital formations of you) there.

Sony Announces Retro City Rampage Coming to PS Vita and PS3

135w ago - Today Developer Brian Provinciano has announced that Retro City Rampage is coming to both PS Vita and the PS3 entertainment system with details below.

To quote: Let's get right to it – [Register or Login to view links] is coming to PS3 and PS Vita!

I couldn't be more excited to finally share the news. For those not familiar with RCR, it's an over-the-top open-world crime game that combines everything you loved in classic games and mashes them up into a "toon town" of nostalgia and parody.

Steal cars, and then jump on pedestrians for big shiny coins. Collect power-ups and outrun the law while rampaging the city, shooting a light gun or swinging your bionic arm.

Fans of Grand Theft Auto will feel right at home with RCR, but the missions extend far beyond driving and shooting. They fuse classic gaming and modern mechanics to span virtually every genre, from stealth to platforming, adventure, rhythm and more- there are even underwater levels.

What I'm most proud of is that everything flows together using the same mechanics and visuals. Even missions inspired by '80s coin-op games seamlessly take place in the open-world.

It really is a massive game with something for everyone. It boasts a full story mode with over...

Sony CEO Andy House Interview: Gearing Up for PlayStation Vita

50°
135w ago - Sony Manager James Gallagher has shared an interview today with CEO Andy House on gearing up for PlayStation Vita below!

To quote: The launch of PlayStation Vita is just two days away and hopefully your thumbs are twitching at the prospect of getting it into your hands and enjoying what we believe is the strongest launch line-up of games in PlayStation history.

One man that has had a part to play in that history is Andy House, President and CEO of Sony Computer Entertainment. I recently spoke to him about life in Japan, the imminent launch of PS Vita and how we as a business are welcoming this proud new addition to the PlayStation family.

PlayStation.Blog: This is your second time working in Tokyo, how has the Japanese games market changed in the time you've been away?

Andy House, President and CEO, Sony Computer Entertainment: Well that intervening period was 15 years so things have changed dramatically. What's interesting, and the one thing that hasn't really changed, is that you still see these sales spikes of a system based on a single major game release, and I think that Japan is the most content-driven of the three major markets in that sense.

The other difference is that there seems to be a shift in Japanese gamers' habits - in the...
