Sony Confirms MUBI Online Cinema is Live Today on PlayStation 3

180w ago - A few days ago it was announced, and today Sony alongside MUBI Founder & CEO Efe Cakarel have confirmed that the online cinema service is live beginning today on PlayStation 3.

To quote: MUBI is your own little cinema, like a never-ending film festival, bringing all the wonderful discoveries of international cinema to your home.

The new service is now available in UK, Ireland, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Norway, France, Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Australia, and New Zealand. If you're in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, and Portugal, don't worry, MUBI will be available in your home next week, Wednesday, November 10.

You can now download the MUBI application from PlayStation Store for free and then find it under the video icon on XMB. MUBI lets you stream more than 300 of some of the most visionary independent, international and classic films directly to your PS3.

Each country has a unique selection of amazing films and filmmakers to choose from - you'll find many of your favourites as well as tons of others just waiting to be discovered by you.

EyePet for PSP Hits Stores Today, Looking for a Good Home

180w ago - SCEA Producer Emerson Escobar has announced today that EyePet for PSP is now available in retail stores, and is looking for a good home at $39.99 which includes the required camera and Magic Card.

To quote: EyePet first made its way into living rooms and melted hearts across North America in September, when it was introduced for the PS3 alongside the PlayStation Move.

In stores for the PSP starting today, EyePet is now able to explore the outside world! Using a PSP camera and Magic Card, both included with the game, your furry little buddy is now totally portable and capable of being your loyal companion no matter where you go.

Video: The Tester 2 Season Premiere Arrives Today on PSN

180w ago - PlayStation Network Senior Director Susan Panico has shared a preview today of The Tester 2's season premiere, which arrives today on PSN for fans.

To quote: We introduced the new cast, including our first-ever nationwide online casting contest winner. The panelists are set. Will Powers is fired up.

And the sneak peeks and 'Download & Win' sweepstakes have been revealed. So what else is left? Yup, you guessed it - it's time to watch "The Tester!"

Later today, Episode 1 of PlayStation Network's original competitive reality series, "The Tester 2" will premiere on PlayStation Store and in PlayStation Home.





The first season brought in more than 2.5 million downloads and produced a ton of excitement from the show's fans and we think that excitement will continue into season 2.

182w ago - SCEA's Product Marketing Manager Jefferson Dong has posted that the new Playstation Move shooter dubbed The Shoot along with the Shooting Attachment are now available on shelves across North America with a PSN demo incoming as well.

To quote: Today is an exciting day for arcade shooter fans, because PlayStation Move's new shooter, The Shoot, is now on store shelves across North America!

Also available today is the PlayStation Move Shooting Attachment ($19.99) which lets you hold the motion controller like a pistol for a more immersive experience when playing games like The Shoot.
