To quote: I am pleased to finally release my teams port of VBA (Visual Boy Advance) to the public. It is a clean port of the most recent VBA-M emulator, that is fully functional, equal to our teams SNES9X-PS3 and FCEU-PS3 releases.
We spent some time optimizing it. The VBA-M source is not conducive to being run on the PPU. After applying many small optimizations we have obtained 60fps in all the important games. Enjoy GB and GBA with shaders!
From the VBA PS3 Version 0.9.9 readme file:
1. CURRENTLY IMPLEMENTED VBA-M FUNCTIONS
* Saving/loading of SRAM
* Savestate loading/saving support
- Savestate slot selectable in-game
- Up to 10 saveslots

133w ago - Today Sony Senior Vice President of Sales Tim Bender has made available a new video featuring Kevin Butler dubbed PlayStation 3 - It Only Does Unstoppable Deals.
To quote: I hope you all had a great holiday weekend and managed to squeeze in some quality time with your family and of course, your PS3!
Many of you took advantage of our great Black Friday promotions at retailers around the country last week, but if getting in line at 6:00am to begin your shopping wasn't your idea of fun, you'll be happy to know there are still amazing deals to be found.
It's not too late to get a great deal on a PlayStation 3 bundle while upgrading your home's HD entertainment system, so you can enjoy the latest in HD gaming, movies and television in the comfort of your own home.
133w ago - US Producer Josh Miller has shared a video and news of a new PS3 patch and DLC information on The Fight: Lights Out today for the PlayStation 3 entertainment system.
To quote: Today we're bringing you the first update to the game. This update resolves several small issues reported by players and includes the ability to make your fighter transparent in order to get a better view of your opponent.
If that weren't enough, you will now be able to use all of the boss characters as well as the main man, Duke, to use in both online and offline multiplayer modes as part of the Duke DLC pack.
The patch will soon be available to download when you start up the game and the Duke DLC will be available from PlayStation Store in December.
The Fight: Lights Out is a brand new type of fighting game. It puts your moves and your actions directly into the game, with an unprecedented level of freedom. Your own skill is the only limit.
But as with all great new things, there is, of course, some great new rules and details to learn. Freedom is better when you know what to do with it, so we've put together these little bonus tutorials to help everyone get to grips with this wholly new way to play fighting games.
133w ago - PlayStation Network Executive Producer Kevin Furuichi has shared some video footage today previewing The Tester 2 Episode 5, which is now available on PSN.
To quote: Last week's grueling teamwork challenge pushed the cast to their limits and this week, Episode 5 ramps up the pressure with an intense creativity challenge.
With nearly half of the original cast eliminated, the seven remaining gamers are given the opportunity to create a video game concept and actually pitch it to a focus group of real PlayStation testers.
Add to the mix the critical eye of this week's guest panelist, Kotaku reviews editor Michael McWhertor, and you won't want to miss what does down in Episode 5.
Download Episode 5 of "The Tester 2″ from the video side of PlayStation Store and later today on the games side after the update. Or, watch in PlayStation Home starting on Wednesday when the next 'Game Over' shirt is available in The Tester theater.
