Mass Effect 3: Leviathan PS3 DLC Out on PSN Later Today

100°
117w ago - Franchise Producer Michael Gamble has confirmed that Mass Effect 3: Leviathan PS3 DLC will be out on PSN later today for fans!

To quote: The [Register or Login to view links] team loves Commander Shepard as much as the fans do, so after we shipped Mass Effect 3, we were excited to start creating additional content that would expand on Shepard's adventures during the Mass Effect 3 experience.

Downloadable content gives us an opportunity to do just that- it gives us the chance to write new chapters that add to Shepard's legacy without disrupting the consistency of the full game.

We approach DLC differently depending on whether it's single player or multiplayer content, but with both, we aim to hit an extremely high quality bar to make sure the fans continue to get the full Mass Effect experience.

For multiplayer, we consider Mass Effect 3′s offerings to be more of a service than a product you purchase. We always said that we wouldn't do multiplayer in our games unless it was done properly, and supporting it fully well after launch is something we are committed to.

The ideas behind Resurgence, Rebellion and Earth were simple: we want to keep the community engaged in our game, keep the content fresh, and most importantly, we want to foster a level...

Video: Lights, Camera, Party! Arrives on PlayStation Network Today

50°
117w ago - Frima Studio Executive Producer Martin Brouard has announced today alongside a launch trailer video that Lights, Camera, Party arrives on PlayStation Network today.

To quote: After years in development, release day is finally upon us! We're proud to share Lights, Camera, Party! with the PlayStation world via PSN later today.

We made this game to provide quality entertainment for everyone in the household and to showcase fun and innovative uses of the PlayStation Move motion controller. We've put our heart and soul into this collection of wacky mini-games and hope they make you laugh and have as good of a time as we had making them.

To celebrate the launch of Lights, Camera, Party! we decided to shoot a humorous live-action trailer that spoofs the usual party game ads and conveys the silly and chaotic nature of our game.

I'm really proud of our team's work on the Lights, Camera, Party!, and I wanted to give a few members of the team a chance to talk about their favorite mini-games. Enjoy!

Feed the Monster: Because cooking a pizza over an active volcano has been a lifelong dream! The game is simple and the feedback is really rewarding...

Biart Studio Announces Deep Black Plunges to PlayStation 3 Today

50°
118w ago - Biart Studio CEO Konstantin Popov has announced that Deep Black officially plunges to the PlayStation 3 entertainment system today!

To quote: We are pleased to announce that Deep Black for PS3 is live now on PSN with single-player missions and five multiplayer maps.

So what is the game about? It is an arcade-style game that's a perfect fit for shooter fans. You'll fight both underwater and on land within an immersive storyline that encompasses a complex science-fiction mystery, espionage, and bioterrorism.

The year is 2047. Global mega corporations known as "keiretsu" have supplanted governments around the world. The most powerful of these is Ishiguro-Himmel Systems (IHS), headquartered in Berlin. The nations that remain have been driven to the brink of war by a struggle for dwindling natural resources.

In order to survive, these countries have banded together into two multinational organizations that pool their wealth and military might in a quest for survival - The United Federation of Gondwana, which comprises South America, Africa, southern Asia, and Australia and the Global Strategic Alliance (GSA), which includes North America, Europe, and northern Asia.

For years, Gondwana and the GSA have been the dominant powers, thwarting the growth of companies...

Video: XSeed Announces Way of The Samurai 4 Out on PSN Today

50°
118w ago - XSeed Senior Editor Jessica Chavez has announced today that Way of The Samurai 4 is out on PSN beginning today with a new video trailer below.

To quote: Last time , my colleague Tom introduced you guys to our upcoming release (out today!), Way of the Samurai 4.

He expounded on the back story, the sandbox nature of its gameplay, and a bit of the silliness you will encounter if you take up arms in Amihama.

He tried to warn you. I'm just going to tell you. This game is crazy. Like, if you punch people, eggs fall out crazy.

Way of the Samurai 4 drops players into a period drama populated by Edo-era Japanese citizens, trade-hungry foreigners and hundreds of crates flaunting their breakability. As a masterless samurai, you're free to aid whichever faction vying for dominance in Amihama that you like.

You can choose to support the local government (the Shogunate forces), the isolationists movement (the Prajna), or the diminutive, sweets-obsessed diplomatic envoy from the British. Or you can do what I did and just run around killing everybody.

Whether or not you play by the rules is up to you. With ten endings and a ton of branching story potentials, I highly recommend just trying everything. Everything.
