Crysis Warhead Leaked, Protection is Fighting Piracy… for Now!

100°
305w ago - Crysis Warhead is currently available at your closet retail store or even on Steam, but there are some who made the decision that shelling out $29.99 isn't worth it.

For those who can't waste their time pulling out their wallets, are most likely already on their favorite file-sharing software, and downloading the leaked version of Crysis Warhead. Luckily for us who bought the game, we can still enjoy it with the upper edge as no real crack has been released.

What does this mean? It means people who pirate the game can install it, but won't be able to launch the title. YES, +1 for legit gamers... that is until a hack group comes along and creates the crack unleashing the wave of piracy.

Will it be bigger than Spore? Most likely no, but regardless it will be quite the popular file.

Burnout Paradise now a PlayStation 3 Platinum Game

50°
305w ago - The PlayStation 3's Platinum Games line-up just keeps getting better. After the likes of Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction, MotorStorm and Resistance: Fall of Man, you can now race around Paradise City for less with Burnout Paradise joining the ranks.

When PS3 Platinum Games were first announced last month, Burnout Paradise strangely made it on to advertising posters, banners etc, but it never really showed up in stores. But it's here now and should be in stores across India by the end of September at a discounted price of Rs 1,499.

Interestingly, Burnout Paradise is still not a Platinum title in the UK, which is strange because in such cases, India usually mirrors SCEE practices. Not that we're complaining; we now have two decent racing games on the PS3's Platinum line-up (and no, the other one is not NFS ProStreet).

Sighted today in Belmont, CA!

Oh, and because my wording might've been a bit confusing (we didn't *practice* this, we just walked in!), you will of course be able to purchase WipEout HD normally via the PLAYSTATION Store.

Now, there's another option as well.

200°
306w ago - Community Team Leader MusterBuster at the official European PlayStation boards (linked above) has posted:

"Unfortunately, a minor technical problem has caused a delay to today's PLAYSTATION Store for PS3 release of new content. We will get the content uploaded for you as soon as is possible.

Apologies for any inconveniece caused, and we'll be sure to update you with any news as soon as we get it."

For those awaiting FIFA '09, it is 753MB and now available via our PSN Links page located at: http://www.ps3news.com/subdomain.php?pagename=psn.

Shortly following, another Community Leader stated: "I really dont know when this one will arrive - what you read is exactly everything I know about the issue. I know you're all disappointed. But I'm afraid there is nothing I can do to make this content appear faster!!!"

Hopefully SCE will sort out the issues soon enough!
