How to Get 40 PlayStation 3 Trophies in 60 Minutes

200°
313w ago - For many of us, try as we might to feign indifference, there's a nagging desire that we secure at least a respectable number of Trophies. So for smarter, time-deprived gamers, we've devised this quick-fix guide to scoring a respectable 40 Trophies in around an hour. Onwards, with dignity!

Burnout Paradise
Time: 15 minutes | Number of Trophies: 7 | Trophy count: 7

And we're off. The pristine, sun-kissed streets of Paradise City is where our Trophy hunt begins and, although each metal mug is quite easy to collect on its own, it's a bit trickier to amass all seven in a tight fifteen minutes. Our advice? Check your map regularly.

Repair your car - Bronze: An easy one to start off. Simply drive through an auto repair for that magic metallic pot. The nearest repair shop is located in Angus Wharf, just a few hundred yards from your starting point.

Perform 3 Takedowns - Bronze: That insipid DJ Atomika making your blood boil? Vent a little fury by barging three opponents into traffic or scenery. The best place to get this Trophy is the Lighthouse Rock Road Rage event.

Power Park your car - Bronze: Find two cars parked closely together - most roads will have them - approach them at about 30 and use the handbrake to swing yourself behind the first...

LocoRoco 2 for PlayStation Portable Rolling to North America Soon

50°
313w ago - SCEA Santa Monica Producer Tsubasa Inaba shared the following PSP title update today:

I'm happy to officially announce here on the PlayStation Blog that LocoRoco 2 is coming to North America soon! Very soon.

In fact, you will be able to play it on your PSP in less than 2 months – it will be available in stores on UMD on FEBRUARY 10, 2009! If you don't have a PSP yet, this is a good reason to ask Santa for one.

With even more content than the original, LocoRoco 2 will add plenty of gameplay enhancements (like swimming in underwater levels!) and will feature new story-driven stages, unlockable quests and a new twist to the game's catchy music.

We have also added multiplayer mode via ad hoc. More to come on all of these new features and what else you can expect in LocoRoco 2 soon, so keep an eye out for us. But for now, enjoy this trailer and let us know what you think of it!

Call of Duty: World at War for PlayStation 3 Savegame Bug Found?

100°
313w ago - Dutch site PS3Life (linked above) is reporting that a savegame bug in Call of Duty: World at War has been found which can leave your savegame unreadable and corrupt. The bug is only said to happen in the single player campaign, and occurs in the levels where you play as a Russian soldier.

To quote, roughly translated: Call of Duty: World at War is without doubt the most played PS3 game this year-end, though many people readily admit that they left full singleplayer miss.

Fortunately, because now we get more and more reports of a bug in the singleplayer campaign, which in charge of your save game gives an error message that says you savegame unreadable, and you then again at the start of the current set of levels set.

This bug occurs in the levels where you play with the Russian soldier, NOT in the first levels with the American soldier!

PS3life would ever know how many gamers who played the singleplayer here affected by this. Have you bought the game, and does this happen to you? Comment below!
