192w ago - PlayStation Store Senior Manager Grace Chen is here with this weeks PSP and PSPgo Digital Comics Store update today, as follows:

Here's this week's PlayStation Store Digital Comics update.

Another week with great comics for your PSP, including more epic Cap, another bottle of True Blood, more Sonic, the fabulous Street Code....and the legendary Bum Bum the Painter.

STREET CODE is the tale of Jack, a native New York bruiser, fed up with living in the dregs of a drug-addled Alphabet City. After escaping to a fresh start in Brooklyn, Jack must now negotiate a new strain of street logic-where most everything he encounters is not as it seems.

With Street Code, creator Dean Haspiel returns to his semi-autobiographical roots and explores the emotional truths between prime and primate. Issue one is now available on your PSP - oh, and it's FREE, so check it out.

(To compliment the reading experience, why not shake your rump to Dean Haspiel's Street Code music mix here - a list of music he grew up listening to, including Public Enemy, Run DMC, Daft Punk and 2-Tone's finest, The Specials)

Elsewhere, the stunning Brubaker/Epting Captain America saga continues...

European PlayStation Store Update for August 18, 2010

192w ago - SCEE's Ross McGrath of the PlayStation Store Team has posted up this weeks European PSN update today, as follows:

A quiet week this week since everyone who's anyone is at the big GC, but we've got a few nice bits and pieces for you to tide you over into September.

We have brand new demos of EA's NHL 11 and Ubisoft's H.A.W.X.2 for the PS3 crowd, along with a host of new add-ons for some great games.

As Richard already told you last week, Uncharted 2 gets a new skin pack, adding some more multiplayer characters for you to choose from (and don't forget the dynamic theme).

We've got two new characters for you to launch from your PAIN-a-pults, including Sergeant Jay and Jolly the Elf, (we figured August was the ideal time to give you a Christmas themed character). The final set of Marvel costumes releases this week as well, including Hulk, who I've heard is fond of smashing.

Six new PSP Essentials join the others on the Store, including a brand new digital release of Open Season, plus the latest LittleBigPlanet kits.

The real stars of the show this week are the oodles of Gamescom trailers we've got for you in glorious high-definition. All the big hitters are present and correct, with new trailers for KillZone 3, Motorstorm: Apocalypse,...

Digital Comics Store PSP and PSPgo Update for August 11, 2010

193w ago - PlayStation Store Senior Manager Grace Chen has shared this weeks Digital Comics Store PSP and PSPgo update today, as follows:

Here's this week's PlayStation Store Digital Comics update.

DC Comics release the first two issues of one of my favorite comics series Y: The Last Man. If you've not heard about it the premise is simple.

A mysterious plague has killed every man (and beast) on earth except Yorick Brown and his pet monkey. Now this may sound like a good thing for Yorick, as it'll be up to him to repopulate the human race, but the world he wakes up to is a confused & dangerous.

There are even some women who call themselves the Amazons claiming that nature wiped out the oppressive men so that the fairer sex could take over the world. Brian K. Vaughan (Runaways) has really created a thought provoking series and I highly recommend.

DC also brings you a free copy of Safe Inside (Zuda) and we start a new series of Green Lantern: No Fear.

From Marvel this week we have all 5 issues of Venom: Dark Origin in which we discover the true twisted roots that gave rise to a lifetime of malevolence for Eddie Brock.

We also see the first issue of a book...
