201w ago - Senior Manager of the PlayStation Store Grace Chen has posted this weeks PSP and PSPgo Digital Comics update today, as follows:

Here's this week's PlayStation Store Comics update. It's a huge update once again with 69 comics, and a lot of highlights.

Kicking it off, we have a treat from Marvel with the adaptation of Raymond E. Feist's acclaimed fantasy saga [Register or Login to view links]. Starting with Magician: Apprentice #1-6.

These first six issues introduce young orphan Pug and follow his coming of age in the increasingly troubled world of Midkemia - a gripping story that will see our hero and his friend Tomas swept up into their world's conflict with some terrible consequences.

Also in this week is DC (Wildstorm)'s Red. In this Warren Ellis' created series we meet Paul Moses, a retired CIA agent who wants to put his past behind him and live in complete peace.

But he knows too much, and his peaceful retirement is to come to an end one way or another when a three-man hit team knocks on his door. Also out are three more issues based on the [Register or Login to view links]: Red: Franck, Red: Joe and Red: Victoria. Take your pick!

Next up is the very topical...

European PSN Game Store Updates for October 20, 2010

201w ago - SCEE PlayStation Store Manager Mike Kebby is here with this weeks European PSN game store updates today, as follows:

This week's update is going to be a bit different to previous weeks; it'll be a bit more personal than usual... though I'll go into more detail after discussing this week's content.

Tim Schafer's latest creation Costume Quest hits the store this week, and it's the perfect title for unleashing your inner child and embracing Halloween with pure unadulterated joy (that you would usually get scorned for as an adult).

No matter how I try and describe this title I'll most likely do it a disservice, so just check it out and make up your own mind (Ed: you could also watch the video interview with Tim and Tasha Harris here).

Swords and Soliders also joins the ranks this week, and any game that can say (taken straight from the marketing material) "blend ninja monkeys, attacking Aztecs and brutal Vikings with everything you love about real time strategy games and you've got Swords and Soldiers" must be worth a look, right?

Not only does this game have local and online multiplayer, it also supports 3D too, so definitely something for you with swanky 3D TVs to be taking a look at.

The rest of the content is, as ever, listed...

202w ago - PlayStation Store Senior Manager Grace Chen is here with this weeks Sony Digital Comics Store PSP and PSPgo updates today.

To quote: First off, a brand new Transformers series, Transformers: Drift, starts with issue #1. This four-part mini-series chronicles Drift's origins as the Decepticon Dreadlock (!) and how he became an Autobot.

In this first part Drift attempts to uncover the secret behind his mysterious rescuers... with shocking results!

We also have more [Register or Login to view links] in store for you with issue #9 out this week.

Yorick finally uncovers the dark secrets his hosts have been hiding, and he's also unexpectedly reunited with someone from his past... I'm not telling you who!

[Register or Login to view links] brilliant series Sandman also continues with issues #4 and #5. Morpheus travels to Hell and then has a pretty tumultuous encounter with Dr. Destiny, who has his eye on something that doesn't belong to him... Guest-starring Mister Miracle and Martian Manhunter!

And for Batman fans we have three nice additions this week: Batman #676 and #677, starting the "Batman: R.I.P." story arc... Another pretty epic storyline as you can guess! Superman/Batman is...

202w ago - SCEE PlayStation Store Manager Mike Kebby is here with this weeks European PSN Game Store updates today, as follows:

If you have any heart at all, then you will have spent the last few months giddy with excitement over the coming release of Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode 1.

I know he's hurt us all in the past, but now we can officially move on, because this new game hurtles us straight back into the old-school action you know and love.

If you did not play the Sonic games back in the day on a Master System or Mega Drive then you won't have the same fuzzy nostalgic feeling that I (and many others) have, but I played this new version to completion the other day and it was everything I wanted.

If you've never played a Sonic game before, then prepare yourself for... well, I'll just let the mighty blue one speak for himself.

That's not all this week though, EA release the animated comic/meta game/mini games/unlock mechanism that is Dead Space Ignition. This is a glimpse into the world between the two main games, and you'll receive unlockable content for use in Dead Space 2 when it releases.

Continuing the sci-fi theme, The Force Unleashed 2 is now available in demo form, so you can practice your lightsaber and force skills on pretty much...
