236w ago - Today Naughty Dog Multiplayer Designer Justin Richmond has officially announced that the Uncharted 2: Among Thieves PS3 Multiplayer Beta starts on June 3, 2009.
To quote: For the past few years, we here at Naughty Dog have been cranking away at creating not only a new single player adventure for Nathan Drake, but an awesome new online experience as well.
It has taken blood, sweat, and possibly even a few tears to get to this point, but on June 3, you can get the first crack at a small slice of the multiplayer modes we'll pack into the full game.
Everything in the Uncharted 2 multiplayer experience has been designed to get you into the game and playing quickly, so you can just skip this blog post if you're really that impatient. Just kidding.

Check out a multiplayer trailer we just finished before the weekend.
So, pick your favorite videogame news site and go check out the coverage from our event last week. If print magazines are your thing, we've gotten word that we'll also be in more than a few magazines around the world in the next few weeks.
If you've been looking closely at our interviews, our team here at Naughty Dog has been growing rapidly and we now have quite a few more Dogs on staff than when work finished on UNCHARTED: Drake's Fortune. It shouldn't be a surprise that we had to grow our studio to tackle the task of...

An article on EDN.com is suggesting that Qimonda might be mass producing 512mb XDR RAM modules that they first showed off earlier this year. The Cell processor can handle a lot of physics objects because it's very math intensive, but struggles with memory intensive coding, which challenges developers to completely rework their game structure.
